It's a nice outdoor umbrella base.

I got a 9ft. Umbrella and it's to heavy for the base even with water in the base, it would till over, and the umbrella pole would not fit tight, it would move, I had to sit a big stone on the base to keep it from falling over and to keep it steady. I haven't tried putting sand in the base yet, maybe that might help to keep it down better.

Good product, but delivery time wasn't

Seems to work well, easy to add water to the base and put umbrella in it. But took 2 weeks for delivery, when they originally said less than a week? SMH. Got lost in a warehouse somewhere in Kentucky but then the company sent another that only took a few days to get here. If it was lost why wasn't I notified? I was able to see it on tracking. Next time just admit it's not found! (I would have bought it locally but all the stores were sold out. )

Sturdy

I filled it halfway with water and it was enough to keep my lightweight umbrella in place. When I was done, I used the water to water my plants.

Real Review: this thing is junk.

The base looks great. Upon receiving, i filled it with water. First thing I noticed was that it didn’t feel anywhere near 42lbs. I bought this to replace a 24lb base and they honestly felt very similar in weight. I’m just speculating, but not sure if the eight claim is accurate. So I came back to Amazon and noticed most of the reviews on this product are completely fake. The real reviews highlight the issues with this product. The pole that the umbrella slides into is very weak. The umbrella will not sit straight no matter what you do because the plastic pole holder isn’t rigid enough. Umbrella blew over on the very first day. I can’t even use this to hold an umbrella. Better suited to hold a tiki torch or something that can’t be blown over. I wouldn’t buy again and will probably return.

Good base

Nice base. Bought to go with the 15 foot umbrella that this base was recommended for. I think it's a good base, but not really for a 15ft umbrella , more for 9 or 10. Holds 50 pounds of sand

The perfect solution for an umbrella stand,( needs umbrella table! Edited may 8th, 2020

By itself, it weighs a little over 4 lbs. Fill it with water and it weighs 47 lbs and plenty of weight to keep a 9ft market umbrella upright in a moderate wind! I love it and highly recommend. With the heavy metal or concrete types, you have to carry it to your nation with either one or two people. With this, no need just place where you want it, fill it, and insert the umbrella into it! presto! Done! #####UPDATE EDIT, May 8th, 2020. A light wind blew over with umbrella dawn! Definitely needs an umbrella table or placed with no wind. Also, I noticed as did another reviewer, that the umbrella does not always stand up straight, and tilts a bit in the base! Will update again when my small table arrives!#####
