A tad small

The protector barely fits into place and I followed the directions so I would receive what was required for my door. The strip of metal that installs at the bottom of screen keeps falling out when I shut the door and I had to tape in place.

Easy to install and it looks good. I felt it was a bit pricey but cheaper than a new screen door.

I like it fit rv door but the plastic filler piece was hard to attach .

Sturdy & easy to install

This 68 year old gal was able to figure it out and get it installed on our R-Pod screen door. This will keep the bowsers from clawing the screen! It's very sturdy and not cheap looking at all.

Easy install, durable

Install about 5 minutes. Already saved a screen replacement our first camping trip with our dog (100 pound Dutch shepherd that likes to paw).

Perfect fit!

My door opening measured 25.25".According to the instructions I was to order UP to the next available size. Even though logically I couldn't understand how a larger size would work I did as instructed and to my surprise it was a perfect fit. It still doesn't make sense to me but if you are debating go with the larger size.

Fits nicely but.

Lippert makes no mention of additional spacers (supplied) to accommodate different height screen doors. They make it sound like this is custom and exact fit. Quote their website " Installing directly into your screen door’s existing channels, no additional hardware or materials are required" However spacers are supplied and they do work. As others have said. It is best to Macgiver a fastening method for these spacers because if you close the screen quickly the spacer has a tendency to fall out. Other than this the unit seems sturdy enough.

Put on in 2 seconds. Just remember to round up ie 29 in screen order a 30in.

Easy Installation

Check the Lippert product label on the inside of the RV door frame and order based on the size listed there. Installation was very simple. Adjustable plastic extrusion pieces are included if you want to fill in the gap above the Screen Defender. The gap was small enough on our door that the plastic pieces were not necessary - the screen is protected from the dog.
