Awesome!

4 star only because of handle. We tried the cushioned handle style but it was heavier. Used tennis racquet grip tape to wrap the handle and now it's a 5-star.

Best ball launcher

The Kong launcher is better made and throws the ball much farther than the other popular brand. I compared the chuckit of the same length and the Kong head to head at the park with my pup. The Kong throws it much higher and further than the chuckit. It feels a lot sturdier and has a bit of flex when you throw it and it really flys. The Kong is heavier but not so much that it makes any difference when lugging it around. The poop bag dispenser is also a nice touch but the included Kong bags are thinner and clear compared to the thicker black Amazon poop bags. It’s cool that it comes with a few rolls of their bags but I’m sticking with the Amazon ones. I don’t want to see the poop and the Kong bags rip a bit easier. Unless you need a folding launcher the Kong model is hands down the best choice.

Get great distance, because of the spring in the arm. I feel it's better then the Chucket product.

Like the thrower, buy different ball.

The "tennis" ball will break within the first 10 minutes with a dog who chews. Bought a different rubber medium sized ball and that ball works great. Love the poop bag dispenser in the handle, though this does add weight. Also bought the less expensive $8+ Chuckit thrower. That works equally as well for half the cost and half the weight. No poop bags however. Our dog is bonkers over these throwers. Saves husband's shoulder and wife can get the ball at a distance the dog craves.

Thrower good. False advertising it came w/KONG ball. Not a tennis ball :(

The thrower itself is made well. However, since I purchased this because it was a KONG brand and known for durability, was willing to pay the high price of $26 because I thought it came with a KONG ball. Very disappointed that they sent it with a tennis ball that was destroyed in less than 3 hours. I was going to send it back but I have two smaller KONG balls that fit it. Still, had I known it came with a tennis ball I would have ordered a thrower that was $10 or less. Very disappointed in the false advertising that they included a tennis ball, which is not with the extra $16 it cost

Even someone who never threw a ball in their life can use this

Once again another great thought out product from KONG love the poop bag option as well. I have had many of these type fetch toys In the past. Played ball my whole life and my rotators on both shoulders are worn. I can still throw just as far if not further with this great stick. It’s not as bendy so the ball travels far. Even my wife who never played a sport in her life can throw just as far as me. Great and fun toy to use. Very convenient.

Brilliant thrower

Very good quality, unlike most cheaper throwers, this actually releases the ball with ease! Came with a kong ball, noticed some reviews saying it doesn’t. I may have missed this info but the integrated poo bag holder is a brilliant addition

Useless

Utterly useless unless you like launching balls at the ground in front of you. Heavy. Cumbersome. And totally pointless as doesn't do the one job it's designed for.

The designer obviously has a dog! Great ergonomic design, feels solid in the hand and robust in the throw, and the bag dispenser for the dog eggs is very handy.
