Great toilet, questionable tank lid locks, DO NOT buy from amazon

First off, the toilet itself is great. But there are two problems which you should be aware of before ordering 1) The tank lid locks look like frankenstein bolts. They are two colors, one gold insert and one silver plug. See photo. If this doesn't bother you, then this product is great. But I'd recommend the version without tank lid locks. 2) Amazon will not deal with any sort of manufacturer replacement. I spoke with Kohler about the aesthetics of the tank lid locks and a not tightly fitting tank lid. Kohler was AMAZING. They offered to replace the tank portion of the toilet. Amazon was terrible. They wouldn't deal with any manufacturer replacement requests. They will only offer to replace your whole toilet. That means uninstalling the toilet (As opposed to just swapping the tank part), reboxing and moving 100 pounds of porcelain and waiting for a replacement toilet. As a one toilet household - that isn't anywhere close to acceptable. And they will only ship you the exact same item. Which didn't solve the bolt aesthetics issue. Now I'm off to a store that kohler found (Lowes) that is willing to honor a manufacturer replacement. Should have bought it at Lowes in the first place. And amazon should not be selling products of this type if they aren't willing to work with the manufacturer (Which seems to be how it works for a lot of plumbing and construction type products)

It is good product in general. Install it in 15 minutes with minor adjustment on trigger handle connection to tank.
