Cute but did arrive with a strong sweet smell
As the other reviewer said, it had a very strong smell - too much for a little boy. When I took it out, a dryer sheet fell out. My family does not use dryer sheets because too many of us are allergic. I immediately ran the scarf through the rinse cycle with some vinegar. The scarf still smells, but is much better. The scarf did hold up well in the rinse cycle. My son loves the scarf. He wants to be an astronaut when he grows up and doesn't mind that it doesn't match his Spiderman hat.

Grandson loved it!
As my grandson loves anything firetruck related, I was soo happy to find this item. He had asked for a scarf like we wear and I just did a search. This item came up and BINGO! He loves it and the quality/feel of it are great.

Nice ORANGE scarf
This is a nice thick acrylic scarf for any young boy who likes fire trucks. The color is really orange, not red, and it matches the Kidorable Little Boys' Fireman Hat, Red, One Size hat's color perfectly, but not the related gloves (which really are red). I was looking for an orange scarf so this was fine by me. I've taken one star off because when it arrived it had a musty smell that took several washings to remove.

Cute, but Scratchy
It's cute, but a bit too scratchy for my taste. I put it around my neck and it didn't feel too comfortable. I doubt that a small child would like it. Also, it is quite short: probably okay for a 2 or 3 year old, but not for much older.

Lovely scarf
My son loves this scarf and I love it as well. It’s a good thickness and very nicely made. It exceeded my expectations.

Not as shown, poorly made.
The picture shows 3 little animals, a zebra, giraffe (maybe), and elephant. When we received ours, it only came with two animals (zebra & giraffe). They were centered perfectly on the bottom of the scarf, so it doesn't look like it's missing anything, which tells me this was an intentional decision by the manufacturers to sell the scarf without the third animal (maybe they ran out of elephants??). Also, the little details on the animals, as well as the animals themselves are sewed on very poorly. The zebra's eyes fell out, the nose was coming off, and other pieces were coming loose. I had to grab a sewing kit and sew everything back on to secure it, and re-create the eyes with black thread. I bought a second scarf from the same makers of a different design and experienced the same crappy sewing job in that one, so I guess this must be a standard problem for them. If none of this bothers you and you don't mind putting in the extra effort and time to sewing the little details back on then get the scarf, it is cute. Otherwise, don't bother as it's poor quality is quite disappointing.

4 yr old is in love!
My 4 yr old is obsessed with firemen, and just loves this scarf. It’s adorable on him and he loves it. We used it for three months and I have found no flaws. Would recommend.

Cute scarf, poor quality, will need sewing
The scarf is adorable. I have never seen anything that looks like this at common stores like Walmart or department stores. However, the little decorations were put together terribly. The yellow "dashes" representing the spaceship or the rocketship "zooming" through space started falling out the minute my 5 yr old started wearing it. I had to grab a sewing kit and secure the little designs before they fell off completely. So, if looks are all you care about and you are willing to put in the time and effort to sew into place the little decorations, get the scarf. If you don't think you will have the time, patience, or care enough to go back and sew everything up, don't bother with this one, it won't last you a week. I bought another scarf of a different design from this same company/brand and I'm having similar problems with that one too. I think it's just the manufacturer in general, not just this specific scarf type.
