Perfect for our car seat

Our travel system car seat fit in here perfect and I’m glad I purchased this. The only thing I can say I disliked was the Velcro strap wrapped around it isn’t secured. The first time we used it we were at the ticket counter covering our seat, before walking down to the plane, and I ended up leaving the Velcro strap on the floor. I’ll have to find something to wrap around it to make it easier to store later.

Must have for travel

This will work wonders if you carry a carseat onboard plane. Especially if you have layover and need to be handsfree! Great quality bag/zipper!

Yes! Buy this!

Sure, you can travel with a car seat without a bag, but I recommend to buy this! You can wear this on your back and free up your hands enabling you to roll luggage or hold your kids’ hands. I like that you can store some extra items in the car seat. Buy it…. Totally worth it!

Second Time Purchasing. Absolutely would recommend.

We purchased our first one of these in mid-2019 for a trip across country with our 4mo old. We checked this bag containing a Graco Infant Seat and Base on the following flights: DFW-SAN, SAN-MRY, SFO-XNA. We used a yellow baggage strap and a yellow “Fragile” tag. We had zero issues. We then used it later from XNA-DCA and XNA-DEN for the same carseat and base. I purchased a second bag for kiddo two in November 2022. Both bags flew XNA-ORF, one bag with the same Graco set up and the other with a Graco Extend2Fit. Both bags had yellow straps and yellow “Fragile” tags. We love these bags. The padding is fantastic, and it protected our carseats well. The backpack straps are great and make for easy carrying through the airport. There’s plenty of room in these bags for other items along with the carseat should you need other baby items checked for free (since your carseats are checked for free). We even put a Boppy pillow in one of ours. Buy these bags.

Does the job

This is the second seat carrier we have purchased. We use them for both our infant and toddler seats. No issues getting them in or out. As comfortable as one would hope for as far as carrying a car seat on your back goes.

Better as a checked bag

This fit my Graco Premier 4Ever DLX Extend2Fit car seat when I set the recline to zero, dropped the adjustable back height, and removed the cup holders. That being said, I’ll cut right to the chase. PROS: - Fits - Well padded - Enough room so that you can throw extra items in the car seat, in the bag - Adjustable shoulder straps - Name card CONS: - No waist strap means ALL of the car seat weight sits on your shoulders - No wheels on this version (I believe they make another with wheels) - An absolute pain to place car seat in by yourself - Awkward to load onto your shoulders from the ground - Collapses to the size of a small duffel bag— will fit in overhead bin but is too big in my opinion Overall, I would recommend this bag if you are checking your car seat and traveling with another person. If you are using this as a bag to assist you through the airport and plan to have your car seat on the plane, I would recommend either a bag with the wheels, or a different device altogether. Unfortunately I waited through 1.3 hours in line for security and this absolutely killed my back. It was not easy to put the car seat back in once I got through security (they make you take it out and the bag has to go through X-ray), nor was it easy to place the car seat back in once I was getting off of the plane (thank goodness for airline crew). I’ll be looking for another item for my next trip.

A travel must have

I have a Chicco Bravo Key Fit 35 car seat & base. This padded bag protected both AND let me stuff extra items in it so I didn’t have to pack it in a suitcase. 3 plane rides later and it’s still in perfect condition. This was my first time traveling by plane with my baby and it definitely gave me peace of mind knowing her most important items were going to arrive safely.

Fits our Britax One4Life Clicktight Convertible Car Seat!

We purchased both wheelie and backpack travel bags from J.L. Childress for some upcoming travel because we weren't sure if our Britax One4Life Clicktight Convertible car seat would fit in either, or which we would prefer to use. Great news is that the car seat fits in both! The backpack carrier is more snug compared to the wheelie bag which we prefer. It also has added padding in the inside of the bag for the upper left and right corners of the car seat - like shoulder pads from the 80s. Sharing some photos of how the seat fits in the bad. We removed our anti-rebound bar and stored inside the bag so it could be used at our destination. Don't mind the mess and dog in the background. This bag does fold up really nicely and pretty compact. You could easily slide it into a diaper bag, purse, or carry-on luggage if you used the car seat on the plane for air travel. The backpack straps are padded nicely and offer a good amount of slack so it would fit a wide range of people. We also like that you can place this bag around another piece of luggage with a strap for added portability. Keeping this product over the wheelie travel bag. Seems like a better value for the money, and better fitted and protected for our specific car seat. Haven't used yet, but will update this review to see how it holds up if it gets checked at the gate. Fingers crossed!

One of our isofix connectors got broken!

We used this for a Maxi Cosi two-way pearl and base. It was a tight squeeze, but when the seat faced forwards, the bag fitted and zipped up etc. When it arrived at our destination airport, the bag looked fine. Our main problem was that while our car seat was in the bag, the seat sustained major damage to one of its isofix connectors, which arrived bent from managing to stick out of the car seat base (despite the connector being tucked into the base when we packed it and the bag being a tight squeeze around the base.) The bag must have then been put down by the airport baggage handlers (who couldn't see the isofix connector in the bag) so that the connector was literally bent out of shape. The isofix connector was bent to the side and the claw which holds the isofix point had closed up - Oh woe! (Luckily the shop we bought the car seat from does a repair service with Maxi Cosi, but we had the pay for the repair.) Getting home with only one isofix point connected wasn't much fun either, but with a tired child late at night in an airport, and commitments the next day, we didn't have much choice. To sum up, this is a great bag, but no matter how snug the fit, before transferring your car seat from your car to the bag, securely tape (gaffer!) and/or pallet style shrink wrap the isofix points, so that they cannot stick out of the car seat base in transit and subsequently get wrecked.

I'll keep looking for better

A good size and much bigger than the dimensions given online. I would not trust it to keep my carseat safe from knocks if going in the hold but I wanted it for carrying a seat through the airport so I was happy it fitted the seat (Group 1/2/3). Extremely uncomfortable to wear - even following the instructions as to how to rest it on your back/shoulders. Due to this, I have returned it.

Carries a Joie Stages seat 55 x 58 x 76 cm

Only used on two flights so far, but did the job. There is no padding, so it's a good idea to maybe wrap a play blanket or some bubble wrap around the child seat to protect the un-padded parts of it, which include the fixing points. You wouldn't want to carry it on your back too far, as it is quite big and cumbersome, as well as fairly heavy when full. (Our Joie Stages seat weighs just under 9 kgs.) It's fine from the airport entrance to the large baggage drop, though, and taking your own seat is both cheaper than hiring with your rental car, and gives you certainly that your little bundle of joy will be safe and comfortable, therefore hopefully happy as well. You can also put a couple of packs of nappies, or maybe a coat, in with the seat.

Overall Good but the zips could do with being a bit stronger!

This is a good, padded bag and just what we needed for our flight to NZ for our Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix car-seat and base. I bought it after reading reviews and decided it was worth the extra money as another one we used in the past was ruined after one return journey to NZ. It lasted the flights (three planes!) and came out unscathed on the whole, EXCEPT the zip 'popped' and it was in a plastic bag with some of the bits inside the bag also outside when we came to collect at baggage claim. However, this isn't really the bags fault as we did pack in a LOT of extra bits to make use of all the space around the car seat and the Baby Bjorn bouncer we put in did push the zip a little (I did notice it but hoped it would hold as the zips are quite heavy duty!) so this is the reason it didn't make it completely in one piece!! Oops! I have managed to fix the zip though it has stretched a little so hopefully it will last the journey back - needless to say, we WON'T be packing in so much extra on the return journey! LOL!

Great item

This is a great car seat travel bag. The material is thick and coated and offers some padding. We used with the Joie stages and it packed in perfectly. We did also pack towels and nappies around the seat to provide some additional padding and to free space up in our suitcases. The back pack straps are great as it meant my husband could carry the bag on his back whilst pulling suitcases. Would definitely recommend. We have used this for several long haul flights and it’s atill going strong.
