Reverse feature is great

So far this tool has worked well. Decent power and the reverse direction feature is great to have. This means an added screw when changing the wheel but no real issue to do that. The cutoff wheels that come with it are worthless. Someone mentioned they were good but they obviously have not used 3M wheels.

Trigger is either on or off for the most part.

There is nothing wrong with the tool Its just marginal. 100% Taiwan for sure. Here is my professional opinion. I own a automotive shop i probably have 10 or more cut off tools. Everything from Mac, Matco, Snap-on Harbor freight, suntech . I own several Mac ones with reverse-able rotation. This is Just like all the rest of the mac (loud and some power and horrible trigger) it is either on or off. Fine if you just need it wide open sometimes. But i hate to say this But the snap-on Beats all of them Hands down.... Amazing linear! Trigger And no.. I am not sponsored by snap on and yes snap-on cost 3 times the price ridiculous!!! I have 4 snap-on ones some 15 years old and work like the day i got them. I have gone through 2 Mac and other IR's to 1 of my Snap-on's and still going. I wish tool company's would listen to Technicians on how to design tools. This would be a easy fix. So bottom line.. if you have never Used any higher End Quality... Tools this will meet your Expectation. Not that bad for $75 still cheaper than Mac cut off tool and very comparable. If this doesn't make sense to you just buy the tool you will not no any Difference. Good Day!

This thing is amazing.. changes direction to avoid sparks or reverse it to get a blade unstuck.. in tight places this is a must

Top notch

Variable speed and option to reverse the wheel direction makes cutting faster easier and safer. Keeps sparks out of abs wires and sensitive material as well as your face. The cut off wheels it came with are high quality and cut great

Tear jerkingly useful

Do you have any idea how nice it is to change direction? No more hot showers of steel sparks. Seriously. The wheel change should've been better thought out. I have 2 hands, & 3 effing tools? But its reversible. Plenty of power. ITS FREAKING REVERSIBLE!!! This may be the greatest tool in the entire world. Its a reversible cutoff wheel. Throw the sparks away from you, change position, then STILL THROW THE SPARKS AWAY FROM YOU!!! Because its reversible. Did you know they made a reversible cutoff tool? Id've spent at least twice as much. Because I can reverse it.

Yes it's not the cheapest. But this will out last you. The revers is not a gimmick but really hand. We have all used one and had to keep head out of way due to sparks. Or worse sparks flying near fuel or other combustible. No longer.
