Better than some of the other test strips. But.
I have tested 3 different brands of test strips over a 7 day period and they did not correlate at all. 0.2 to 4.0 That is a huge difference when you are drinking the stuff. If you simply need to check if you have chlorine in your water these will work. If you need a definitive number go with a Taylor chlorine kit instead. For reference: I check my drinking water tanks for free chlorine every morning. When it gets below 0.2, I add 2.5 teaspoons of (drinking water approved) chlorine granules to a 2500 gallon tank. For our water usage, it will last a week before I need to chlorinate the tank again.

Lots of duds
I went through 8 of these before getting one that worked. For what it's worth, the ones that did work were accurate.

Totally Inaccurate Results
Purchased August 2022 to measure monthly Free Chlorine (TRC) from new septic system install for County Health Department. Always measured zero Free Chlorine, well below minimum required. Spent months with equipment manufacturer and installation contractor trouble-shooting system. Tried several types of chlorine tablets, etc. Finally had independent lab test and free chlorine was 0.99 mg/L. This test kit was defective! And could not return for refund because past the return date.

Very poor accuracy, not trustworthy
I have done at least a dozen test very explicitly following the directions and the results are nowhere near compared to two other test. One test I’m using is liquid with the drops, another is a test strip that you dip. Both of those are indicating over 5 ppm this test is consistently giving .6 to 1.2 ppm. Both my other tests are highly rated for accuracy. They just are not easy to read anything under 2 ppm which is what I’m trying to achieve for my hot tub. I bought two bottles I will be returning one.

0 Results For My Tap Water...... Read the Product Discription Carefully
There was a 0 concentration as measured with my tap water.....but I know that my city uses Chlorine / Chloramines per information from my Orange County Calif water department. After reading more carefully the product description..."Does not react with combined chlorine (Chloramines)" Maybe I have Chloramines in my water supply?
