Doesn’t pack back up neatly

This product is fine until you try and put it all back in the tiny bag it comes in. You have to take all the mallets apart to get it back in the bag. I bought this for my teenagers during quarantine to give them something quick n easy they can get out and use, A) theyre not going to want to put it together every single time, or B) they’re not going to take the time to take it apart o fit nicely in the bag. I wouldn’t have bought this product for that very reason had i known ahead.

So far So good

We have only played with this once so far and it seems pretty decent. IF you don't know how to set it up or the rules you will need to look it up online. Im teaching my children not to slam the ball like they are playing golf to help keep the mallets from breaking as I have read happens in other peoples' reviews.

Quality was ok, not like the one we had as kids

Made for children not adults

Made for children and a small yard. Wood is very light duty. Overall approximately 60% scale of a traditional croquet set. Balls are made of plastic. Broke one of the mallets on the first day, again, good for children not adults.

Very poor quality

Unfortunatley during our very first game, which was not aggressive, one of the posts and a mallet snapped in half. By the end of game 3, we had only 2 intact mallets - not nearly strong enough to support a game. Wood product too light and weak.

Garbage

Save your $$$ don’t buy this! The shafts are weakened by cuts around the shaft of the mallet handle (for design purposes?) And easily brake! They are also too short! Two were broken the first hour we played.... one was broken by a 7 year old girl whose swing definitely shouldn’t have broken that mallet...

Happy enough

It is a nice set and it is durable and definitely worth its value, however, I found the handles a little short. Now I haven’t played much croquet so maybe they are suppose to be short handles, but as someone who is 5’4” I felt the handles where a little to short. Regardless, a great addition to the camper.

Poor quality for the price

Very disappointed. First set we ordered arrived with a ripped case so we returned the set. The replacement set came, we used the mallets once and one snapped right in half. Adults were using the set, so it was not being used roughly or abused. Since you are required to provide a star rating I had to give it one.
