Excellent bathroom scale!

Unlike my previous Soehnle scales, which were made in Germany, this one was made in China, which initially gave me pause. But it’s proven quite accurate, and quite consistent from weighing to weighing. Aesthetically pleasing, looks better than its picture.

Nice scale

Sleek scale. Very large display. Clean lines. I first purchased an Amazon Wearhouse (used) example of this scale; it was dead on arrival. I was offered a refund and re-ordered. So far, I've been happy with this scale.

Soehnle quality. Nice low-profile scale with quality construction

Simple, wide platform, responds quickly, 440 lb. capacity, beautiful LCD, and runs off AAA batteries. I will likely replace the included batteries with more Eco-friendly Eneloops over time. My only minor complaint is that inanimate objects do not seem to turn the scale ON. To weigh anything other than myself, I have to step on the scale, quickly step off, and then place the object on the scale before it finalizes the weight. Or, weigh myself with and without the object and then perform simple subtraction. No biggy.

Best accurate scale from a great company!

I have a Soehnle scale that I purchased about 24yrs ago and it still works perfectly. I needed a new scale for our second home and went looking for the same brand. This scale is 1/5th the price of my original with all of the quality, along with a beautiful backlit display. The old scale requires you to tap it to wake it up. After it zeroed you could weigh yourself. You just step on the new unit and it weighs you nearly instantly. Both of them are super accurate. Step on them 10 times in a row and get the same weight every time!

Solid and easy to read, but has memory.

Looks nice and feels solid. The annoying thing is that it like many digital scales has a memory. So if your weight changes very little it will show you the previous weight it remembered. Despite it coming from a German company this scale is made in China.

Handsome Scale for Any Bath

Scale has bright large numbers; easy to read; cleaning is a breeze with the flat, smooth surface; doesn't require expensive special batteries; very accurate. Couldn't ask for more!

Not German made

If it matters not German made. Seems pretty accurate to the .3lbs definitely step on and off a few times perhaps with and without an object because it does have a memory function that sometimes doesn't reset well

Weight depends on the floor it's set on.

If you have an uneven floor this scale is hopeless. If you have an even floor the weight it measures depends on the flooring. We had a very good Soehnle scale which served us for 15 years, so bought this one. We cannot get a repeatable measurement out of it in spite of trying many different locations. It may be defective, but the packaging is gone.

Ok product, not value for money

Two star due to cost of the product vs functions. A simple scale made in China, seems more expensive than similar products.
