Easy to learn

Calls sound great for ONE day PLASTIC FRAME

I used the double dog howler with a amplifier cone to locate coyotes and it made for an awesome morning hunt I had a coyote within feet of me in the thick cover howling away this call is a terrific sounding call I not only fooled the coyotes but also fooled some other hunters across the valley. They tried to call ME in with a wounded rabbit call ahahahah. Sooo why the 3 star review, the one call i used was the double dog and it only lasted for a 4 hour session. I made probably 30 or 40 howls before this call was stretched out so bad that it was dead at low volume and pitchy at high volume especially at cut off of howl. I had to cut my hunt short because I didn't have my open reed with me. Took call apart and saw that the frame is plastic the metal ones cost 30 cents a piece...!! The latex rubber has holes in it to attach to the plastic frame, this method of attaching through holes in latex makes for a call that will have an extremely short life. Great sound but short lived

Great price for a great set of calls

Great price for a great set of calls. First I have never blew a diaphragm call before but if you take the time to watch the video more than once I know right who has the time but it's like watching a movie the second time you catch something you didn't see, in this case here the first time and I am in sales so I have a lot of seat time. So what I'm saying is do the time and you will see results ooh yeah and practice practice practice!!!

Seems well made.

I am not able to use these because it cannot bend to fit my mouth. The Reed has plastic instead of metal around it. My mouth is narrow, I guess, so I arch and trim my calls a little to get the sound and comfort I want. It may be a great call for someone with a large mouth. I guess I'll never know.

Awesome!

After receiving my new calls, I practiced all day. The wife and I went out cruising the country that night. We came across a dried up river bed when I shut off the truck and told her that I was going to try to get something to talk back to me. Never would've expected it, but that place blew up. Sounded like 3 different packs of coyotes. 2 in front of me and 1 behind me. What a night!

Will be my back-up diaphragm

Decent sounding howl, though not the best I've tried. One reed (out of the three) developed a wrinkle after just a couple uses, but it seems to still function ok. So I'm a little disappointed with the quality. Overall, I'll keep it in my gear as my back-up diaphragm. I think the DVD that comes with the set is pretty good. Better than others that I've seen.
