This helped when needed

This was easy to install and fixed a street light that didn’t work. This solved my issue and has the screw for mounting in a wall box.

Good doorbell transformer!

Oh man, what a difference. Buy buy buy.

When I moved into my new house, one thing that annoyed me was that the doorbell transformer, attached to the circuit panel, was over 20 years old, and by now was making a nasty buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz sound 24 hours per day, as old/cheap/worn transformers do. I didn't have a good reason to replace it, until we redid all the walls upstairs, which necessitated removing the door bell chime itself. While I'm at it, I figured, I'll replace not only the chime with a modern electronically generated doorbell instead of the xylophone type (which is what we had up there), but now I'll replace that transformer. So I ordered this one. Man what a difference. This transformer doesn't even make the slightest sound, and it doesn't even get more than very slightly warm to the touch. I wish I would have done it sooner, I didn't realize how loud that buzzing made my entire basement. The only thing though--the no load voltage on this was 20.3 VAC, and under doorbell-like load, it was still well above 16 VAC, which is the labeled voltage. My new electronic doorbell chime said it required 16 VAC, but a quick call over to the manufacturer said "There isn't an electronic doorbell on the planet that will even remotely mind 20 VAC, don't worry about it, it'll be fine." And sure enough it was. Totally fine. So I'm very pleased. If you're reading this, you're obviously noticing this transformer is a few bucks cheaper than the other ones, as I did. I don't see why it is---it seems great. Buy it now.

Great little transformer!

I needed a transformer to power my smart doorbell. So I picked this one up. The cool thing is it actually mounts straight to the junction box. So it made wiring very easy.

Replacement for an old transformer

Purchased a Skybell door bell camera. It kept acting out and cause the door bell to short ding constantly when accessing the camera or activity was observed. Turned out the original transformer sitting on top of the breaker panel was too small, i.e. 10V only. Replaced it as per Skybell's recommendation with this one here and now it all works great. Cables were long enough to hook up inside panel.

Easy install

Used it to light up my house sign. Very simply install. I used the power from the outside lights so it turns on when those are switched on.

Works great for ring door bell

I ordered this to use with my ring door bell. This product works great if you don't want to be constantly recharging your doorbell and I have recommended to others who are considering getting a ring to invest in this transformer as well.
