what to know about this product

purchase made Feb'23 PROS: great value for the money. A lighter emollient conditioner UNLIKE the heavier yet similar Pantene and Orlanda Pita Argan conditioner formulas, but I would *most definitely* not consider this a "detangler" or for frizzy, flyaway hair. Better for fine or limp hair than the heavier "weight-down" type of Argan conditioners; in fact, it could be considered a lighter-type conditioner overall. Easy to rinse out. CONS: decidedly odoriferous of a LILAC scent mixed with "new car vinyl smell", IMHO it's not offensive per se, but *very strong* and follows you around rest of day. Not something everyone will tolerate. I hope Lily Farms is reading this because they need to lighten up on the perfumey scent, much too overpowering. All in all, a good buy if you can accept the above, you won't be disappointed.

Doesn't smell nice

It doesn't smell very nice, which makes me wonder about its actual quality. Lots of things come from china lacking any certification of being free of toxic chemicals (they don't have the toxics regulatory laws that the US does).

Silicone feeling.

My only compliant about this product is that it smells like chemicals and also leaves a silicone feeling in your hair.

Good price

Okay, so, I bought this because I use a lot of conditioner, especially when mixing conditioner with hair dye to achieve a more pastel look. I regularly use Garnier’s honey/shae butter conditioner, which is the best conditioner I have ever tried. I ordered the Ginger Lily Farms conditioner hoping it would compare to the Garnier conditioner. Sadly, not quite. It’s still very very good conditioner, but my standards have gotten pretty high. I’m using this to dilute my hair dye to a pastel instead of using the more expensive conditioner. This doesn’t the job, and I don’t think I wasted any money. It’s going to last me quite awhile, though.

Great smell but does NOT detangle.

I had high hopes for this conditioner but unfortunately it doesn't detangle at all. The smell is wonderful. It goes on pretty smooth but if you have long thick hair like I do then it will not do the job needed. My hair knots easy and I need a good detangler. I comb my hair in the shower and this one didn't get a single knot out no matter how much I used. It washed off easily and didn't leave a residue. My hair felt clean and smelled great but the knots were a pain to deal with after the shower.

Nice conditioner

This is a great conditioner for the price. The scent is a little strong for my liking but I love the conditioner
