A little too small

I bought two of these plant stands to raise the pots on my deck in order to protect the wood underneath from excessive dampness. It is stable, does the job and allows me to rotate heave pots easily. My only complaint is that the flat interior surface does not measure 10 inches, so a pot with a flat bottom of 10 inches does not fit into the stand. The stand's sides curve upwards leaving only 8 and 1/4 inches of space for the bottom of a pot. My smaller pots worked well. Unfortunately the next size available is 14 inches which works but looks too large under pots with a bottom measure of 9 to 10 inches.

Size = Diameter on the the OUTSIDE!!!

The size in the product description is the diameter on the OUTSIDE. The inside of the ring is at least 1/2" smaller than described. And given the sit-in shape of the frame, whatever size you are contemplating, it will probably be wise to order one size larger. The 10" and 13" ones seemed perfect for my planters "on paper", but when they arrived, the planters simply couldn't fit in. Amazon, to their credit, took back the ones that didn't fit with no questions asked, and I ordered larger sizes.

Best Plant Caddy for the Price

Bought these for use on our patio to keep plant off concrete and for mobility. This caddy is stable, easy to move or to anchor, and I love the fact that it has sides to keep the plant from sliding off when moved. Very sturdy and well-made. Great that it has 4 wheels. Have reordered - this is my favorite caddy.

Gardman 13 inch heavy duty plant caddy

This is a nice product, it keeps your planter up off the deck/ porch/ground and the idea of it is a good one. I got it hoping it would be easy to move my plants, but it is difficult to move it where you want it to go. My planters and plants are not all that heavy. If you have every had a grocery store cart that wouldn't roll right and you had to fight it to get it to roll, then you've got the idea. I made sure the little brake on the one wheel was free, but the wheels still seem to have a mind of their own and do not roll easily. So I only give it 3 stars.

It's a life-saver for moving heavy potted plants

I live in Colorado, and love to have a few tropical plants in the summer so I can enjoy diversity in my garden. This year, I bought a small gardenia tree. I needed a method to move this large and heavy pot around the patio to protect the tree from forecasted hail and from too much hot sun as the summer progresses. This caddy is perfect and has been a life-saver for me! It handles the weight nicely, and I can easily wheel the tree around. I recommend this caddy if you have heavy plant containers that have to be moved from time-to-time. It's nice -looking, too.

Wheel popped right off

The holder itself may be heavy duty but the wheel popped right off as I was setting the plant down. It looks like the wheels are welded on but it is such a small surface area they need to do a really good job or they just come off. I bought two at the same time, one had a wheel fall off and the other was ok. I am torn, did I just happen to get one bad one?

Sturdy, attractive plant caddy

A long while ago I had bought a plant caddy made of metal with rollers that was perfect for a large miniature orange tree I wintered in the house. Over time I added another two trees, and I had need for the same substantial caddy which I finally found in the Gardman Heavy Duty plant caddy. This caddy's wheels make it possible to roll a heavy plant across even deep carpet, it's attractive to look at, and it nicely cups the large pot needed for a big plant without worrying the planter will slide off of or out of the caddy. Not only that, the price was reasonable. This is a good product that holds up well.

Fits perfectly under 15lb Blue Rhino propane BBQ tank

This was perfect for using under a Blue Rhino propane tank. We have a portable grill on the deck, and this allows us to easily roll the tank + grill-on-cart from under the eves when we want to use it. It’s heavy duty enough to handle the heavy tank. The wheels roll well and also lock if needed. Maybe the previous reviewer who stated it doesn’t roll had the wheel lock on.
