Excellent upgrade for our travel trailer
My wife hated backing up with our travel trailer in tow. She was also uncomfortable on the highway without being able to use the rear view mirror. This camera solved all of that and more. The video is not the latest hi definition standards, but it more than good enough to see behind the rig either on the road or working into tight camp sights. At night the night vision works very well. We have discovered that the wide angle of the camera will pick up cars that are right at the rear of the trailer before passing us. By the time these cars leave the camera view, they appear at the side window. This has reduced surprises from cars approaching from the rear. The system was easy to install as in our case we simply replace the existing center position light on the top of the trailer with the Fusion light. This did require filling the existing screw holes, adding some sealant around the opening where the wires were located inside the wall of the trailer, and installing screws in the new locations dictated by the design of the camera. But this was no big deal. The entire installation took only about 30 minutes. Linking the camera to the monitor was done at the factory so the moment I turned on the system it was working. Since I am powering the camera off of the electrics for the running/parking lights, those likens must be on for the system to work. That is as simple as Turing on the parking lights when the rig is hooked up. We are very happy with this system. There are less expensive units on the market, but this system shows a lot of thought in design and application. I would recommend this system for anyone who wants a rear view camera system.

Monitor down on first big trip
Towing a Jeep at the end of our 31' Class C the Furrion system is a great confidence builder and stress reducer. In the rain, at night, with headlights behind you it looks like a million "shooting stars" are pelting the earth ;-} It became pretty distracting but still is helpful when in rural areas for lane changes. Still worth the price of admission and am much happier with it than without it! UPDATE: On our first big trip the monitor entirely stopped functioning after going through a bumpy stretch of freeway in the Salt Lake City area. I purchased in November so technically should be able to get replacement through warranty. I'll update as the story unfolds. CLOSURE: The Furrion technician I spoke with directed me to check the fuse that is in the plug that goes into the cigarette lighter. That was not the problem so he guessed it was the power cord itself, as he said " . . . since we've been having problems with them." I received a new cord under warranty. It is really unfortunate they cheaped-out on such an expensive system with a tiny gauge power cord. One would think they'd upgrade since they know it is a problem so I guess must say, "Buyer Beware" until they do. Too bad!

It works so well, and easy to install
I really like having this unit on my 5th wheel. I got only the one camera for the rear and it works really great. I like the fact that I can monitor what's behind me as I travel down the road. It comes in handy when it's time to swap lanes, make sharp turns, etc. I can always add other cameras if I want to, but I don't think I will. I don't care for the way the side cameras look. To me they stick out to far and I maybe wrong, but I think they have to be mounted on the rear. It's been awhile since I looked at them!! If it was designed more like the ones that come on RV's and can be mounted on the side of the 5th wheel more towards the front so you can see down the side, I would like that better. Overall, it's a great product and I'm so glad I installed it on my camper.

Almost five stars
Daytime use is very good, not 4K picture quality but good enough. Nighttime is a different story, headlights become so bright that it’s difficult to determine where they are. I’ve seen much better results from security systems that have to contend with all degrees of light. Another issue with the nighttime vision is that it looks like a dust storm of insects when you’re traveling at 50+ mph. WiFi connection works well. The windshield suction mount didn’t let go in our entire 38 hour journey. I would have given five stars had the nighttime vision not been so disappointing

Really was impressed with picture quality.
He was on his way to install and I had no problem connecting the base station to the camera the only thing I did do was change the lightbulbs to LED. One thing make sure that you don’t leave it in the car locked up during all day whenever I am not using it whatever I’m not driving I’ll take it down and put it in the glove box One thing make sure that you don’t leave it in the car locked up turn out day whenever I’m not using it whatever I’m not driving I’ll take it down and put it in the glove box. It must have a heat protection because I left it on the dash and it was 160 inside the truck and it wouldn’t come on until it cooled down.

Easy to wire in, make sure your lights are on to power the camera
Works great on a 27 foot trailer. I wired it into the lights on the top of the trailer. At first it was not working, but once I put the headlights on the trailer lights come up and the camera worked perfect.

Picture has a glare
The camera picks up well from the back of my 31 foot airstream but there is a glare on the screen 90%of the time. The suction arm broke from the cup two weeks into our five week cross country trip. I called the company and they said they would send me a replacement but it would be several weeks to get it from the warranty, but I could pay for a replacement and they could quickly mail it to wherever I was. I have been home now for a week now and emailed the company three times and still no replacement part . I have a Furrion screen that has to lay by the gear stick to see any picture from behind. No good customer service!

Best for the money
Great camera well worth the money.Do not spend your money on other cheaper cameras.........I spent over 400.00 on other cameras only to have to replace them.
