Good straws but,

Best paper straws out there

I've tried a lot of paper straws and this brand is the only one that holds up for the whole drink and even beyond. I have been using their black tall straws for drinks for a while and I was so happy to find that they made a smoothie straw too.

Strong, sturdy and big.

These are not the flimsy paper straws of my childhood. These suckers are big, feel very sturdy for stirring drinks and don't turn to sludge after a few minutes submersion. You can drink a thick shake or smoothy through this straw better than most plastic straws. I use these for drinking and for cocktail swizzle sticks.

TOO colossal!

Tremendous value for the price, but straws are closer to 10mm than the 8.5mm in the description, making them unsuitable for my project. Anybody need some really big straws? ; )

Perfect for thick drinks

Perfect for frozen beverages, or milkshakes. Paper is sturdy and doesn’t get too soggy too quickly. Typical paper flavor.

Advertised as 8mm. Were actually 10mm. Useless for my purpose. Returned

They work well with smoothies

They last through a smoothie as long as you don't chew them. My kid chews them like other straws. I like their size. I have left the straws overnight in sodas, and they surprisingly haven't fallen apart. They still work, but I would use a new straw.
