Solid but narrow

Bought these to replace the wood chairs at our kitchen table. They are a good height and sit nicely at the pub height table. They came securely packed and undamaged. Assembly was as simple as screwing the backrest onto the base. That's it, 2 pieces and a few screws. The metal takes some effort to pull in tight as they aren't 100% true to shape but it wasn't difficult. The downside to these is that they are narrow. I'm an average sized male and I fit ok. I wouldn't want to sit on them for hours though. I would say that anyone concerned about having wide hips may want to look for seating that doesn't wrap so far around the sides. That's the main cause of the narrow seating space.

3 years later, no complaints...just a sore behind lol

Im reviewing after 3 years of ownership...they still looking brand new. We sit on this more that we sit in our couches. Since we have a lot of get togethers ppl tend to hangout in the kitchen and sit on them, kids and grown heavy folks....after 3-4 different set of chairs I opted for this kind, and is the best decision I made. Now, to be honest they are not the most comfortable if you plan on sitting for long period of times. But they are sturdy, easy to clean and stylish. Great investment. Now im looking for some Cushions.... after 3 years of having them ????

Sturdy chairs

These stools were an Amazon Warehouse find, "used, very good" condition. And for under $40, I got all four chairs. I love the shiny black color and the fact that I only had to attach the chair backs (5 screws per chair). Super easy assembly. I knew when I ordered these that they might have some damage and they did. One chair has a tiny dent, which isn't noticeable unless you're looking for it, and another stool has some scratches. However, since these chairs were a Warehouse bargain It's not a big deal. I paired the stools with a wood counter-height table in my kitchen and they look good. Unfortunately, the stools are not comfortable at all. So, if you're expecting to be able to sit on these counter-height stools for very long, you will be disappointed. I'll probably replace them sometime in the future.

Small area for butt..

Great for patio/deck

Very easy to assemble and much sturdier than originally thought when purchased. Comfortable, however, you may want to purchase chair pads

Beautiful for a farmhouse kitchen

These chairs look beautiful in my 1880 farmhouse kitchen! They arrived sooner than anticipated and packaged perfectly. Minimal, extremely easy assembly to attach the backs to the chairs. They are very narrow for an adult’s rear to sit on, but I use these for my kids to sit at our island. Many large adults have used them for short periods of time, myself included, without any complaints. I would definitely recommend these!

Don’t get comfortable

Easy to assemble but don’t get comfortable on these. They’re great for the kids but I’m not so sure the bigger bottom guests would be sitting on them.. I am 5’6” 150lbs with not a big bottom whatsoever and I sit, I eat and then I leave ASAP. No back support.. My bottom slides off of the chair if I lean back on the back rest. They did look cute with my table but we’ve tried them out for 2 weeks and I will be returning.
