Pretty sturdy cage

Easy to put together and heavy duty (for a cage) metal. Unless you have a beaver who would chew threw the wall side I think a dog would have a hard time splitting the bars apart. But definitely go one or two sizes bigger. I think I bought the large and I’d consider it to be a medium which fits my 50ish lb dog. Also he was timid the first time going in because it’s darker than a normal cage.

Great product

It looks so much better than a regular crate. It’s too tall to be like a side table, but top is sturdy and able to hold plenty of things. Very easy to put together, instructions were clear. Packed safely. Only thing I wish it had was a hinged top, that would be so helpful. But it’s a great crate for the price!

45 lb would be pushing it

The figures in the instruction book were so faint that they were almost worthless. Luckily assembly was basically intuitive. I assembled it without the front screen because I am using it for a dog bed rather than a crate. Looks OK where I have it. However, the medium size that I received is supposedly good for dogs up to 45 lbs. I wouldn't risk it. My mutt weighs 28 lbs and takes up most of the room. Putting a 45 lb dog in here with the doors closed would really be pushing it. 4/6/23 update. The cat loves it. She sometimes even lets the dog use it.

Perfect!

This crate is so perfect for my two baby french bulldogs who love to sleep, play and be together always. I bought a size Large. It was so EASY and QUICK to put together (I did it all by myself) ! It looks great and matches my other gray furniture perfectly. I highly recommend this product !

Awesome dog crate

I absolutely love this crate and so do my tiny puppies!! The crate was easy to assemble. My 13-year-old daughter and I put it together relatively easily with only one minor hiccup which was what side to put the side door on. Once we figured that out, it went together fairly quickly. I would absolutely recommend this dog crate to anyone that is looking for one. ????

You may want to size up

I have had this crate for about 9 months and I like the look of it and it’s plenty sturdy, BUT keep in mind that the measurements given, are not the measurements of the crate space but rather of the entire piece if furniture. So when I thought I was getting the standard 22” wide crate, because of the wood part of the furniture and because it’s lifted off the floor with metal legs, it’s actually smaller than that and does make a big difference. The real measurements of the crate are: 18.5” wide x 30.5” long x 18.5” tall That, and the fact that the tray sits underneath the metal slatted floor so that your dog stands on metal slats instead of a smooth surface, isn’t really my favorite. It’s fine if your dog doesn’t dig up a bed you put in there, but just keep that in mind.

Easy assembly

Kennel seems sturdy and our pet seems to enjoy the room and comfort of tha kennel. I would recommend this kennel to anyone who needs a comfortable place to keep your pet safe.

Disappointed for the cost

My dog used this twice he's a beagle and completely bent multiple bars and pushed the front door so it's bent and difficult to shut and had only used it twice for no more then 3 hours total. For the cost of this product I'm extremely disappointed in the durability of it. When I opened the package I was very impressed with the look. Assembly was easy but the quality of the crate/bars itself is a very poor especially for the cost.

The fluffy guy hates it - but I love it!

Just look at his face - the saddest little handsome at this moment! They all hate their crates - specially when it's locked! I always buy the best of everything for him - super quality food (fresh and hand-made by professional chefs!), toys, filtered water, etc etc! So, it was only natural to buy him the best crate I could find on Amazon - and this was it. But, my doggo, as you can tell, is not excited! They certainly don't care if it's a $50 crate or $300! Back to review - easy to assemble. Just don't use those heavy duty tools - all screws must be tightened (but NOT too tight) by hand and the little tool included with this product. It's designed to keep a grizzly - heavy, strong, quality materials and nice design. It's made in china - so expect to see 1 or more issues during assembly! YES, the lock sucks bad! NOTE: Cover it with blanket or mat - your little guy or girl could get stuck and injure his / her feet. It's big (I bough the MED size) but inside is perfect for a Shih Tzu! They don't need space to run inside their crates but they need enough space to comfortably lay down / relax / OR stretch - plus 1 or 2 small toy to hug! One last (and important) FYI, I bought one of these Bedsure beds (30") but it's a little too big for this size crate. Problem is, whoever designed it, they forgot to follow the standard size of beds for dogs! Other than that, it's a very nice looking crate which would look great with your furnitures.

Parfait pour mon chien

Cage parfaite pour notre petit chien. Côté esthétisme, elle est parfaite dans notre salon. On apprécie les deux portes d’accès ainsi que la solidité de la cage une fois assemblée. À noter que l’assemblage n’est pas complexe mais prend un peu de temps vu la qualité du meuble une fois finie. Notre chien et nos deux chats l’aiment beaucoup!

Vraiment décevant

Le panneau A est arrivé endommagé et les trous pour fixer les côtes n’était pas au bon endroit comme je n’ai pas le temps pour retourner la cage j’ai fait des nouveaux trous dans la planche pour fixer les côtes. Comme ce n’est pas du vrai bois ce n’est pas très solide. Non recommandé pour les chiens actifs. Elle est belle à regarder mais il ne faut pas trop la toucher et si vous voulez vous en servir comme table d’appoint penser à protéger le dessus car la mélanine est de mauvaise qualité elle se brise facilement

Incorrectly manufactured, otherwise lovely

The crate received two stars due to a fatal flaw in the manufacturing. One set of holes for the frame was drilled incorrectly (90 degrees) to it's correct position, making assembly impossible. Instead of attempting to repackage the dog crate for a return, I was able to drill my own holes in the correct position and assemble it. It's actually a really lovely piece of furniture however. It's sturdy and the top surface is a fairly realistic and detailed plastic over pressboard. Unfortunate since I don't think it counts if you have to have power tools to put it together.
