Renewable dehumidification for your keepsakes!

I've been using these for many years, and just purchased some additional units to establish a "pairs" system where I stagger the renewal such that there's always one unit keeping things dry while the other is heating up to renew it. Renewal usually takes 24 hours, about every 4 weeks in my use case. If you cannot use an electric unit for your storage needs, these are the next best thing available!

It’s doing the job.

Im using this to keep my 3d filament dry by using a 6 latch sealed lid polycarbonate bin i purchased from home depot. I checked it yesterday and the sealed container has been doing the task so well that this hasn’t even began to change colors. The combination appears to be doing the task. If i need another one id consider this brand again as long as the price point remains fair for the value of use this gives me. Far as any other use i cant attest to the quality in another environment. The container I use is a small 10 quart size.

Works well and small - no mess

Like this better than other things such as the crystals to absorb musty smells and dampness. I use it in a bathroom that sometimes had a damp feel and smell. 2nd time purchasing this style- think they last about 5 years.

Easy to use but needs airflow to work

I put this in the window of my bathroom, as even when I wasn't showering there was always condensation on the window and I had mildew issues. However, I found this only works when there's air moving around it to push the humidity through it. It has helped with the humidity on the window a little, but it still has condensation on it all day long.

Works well if used in right environment

Purchased this to use in a safe. I recharge it every month. It is easy to see when the crystals turn from yellow to dark green. The other reviewers are correct in that when you plug it in it heats up, releases moisture, and dries the crystals. Pop open the garage door, plug it in for a couple hours, remove it, shake it around a bit, and plug it back in. For me, it takes about 6 hours to dry out the crystals. I would not leave it plugged in for half a day, while I was at work, or overnight.

It works!

I was skeptical this would actually work, but it was at 40% discount so I bought it. I am so pleased. I had it out for about 2 weeks and the crystals turned green. Plugged it in overnight and back to orange. I have a weather station about 5 feet away and it dropped the humidity 10%. I saw a review saying their crystals melted, but if you don't leave it plugged in too long that doesn't happen. Overnight is all you need. Will be buying more.

Love this product. Bought THREE of them.

Love this thing. Went back & bought 2 more. I'll probably buy more. Initially bought for a basement bathroom which is on the colder/danker side. Works really well, but keep in mind it's designed for *really* small spaces, like small bathrooms, laundry rooms, closets, etc. Make sure you don't overcharge it. I did this by leaving it plugged in for MONTHS at a time because I liked the heat it was giving off as it was warming up my small bathroom, but that will damage its ability to take out moisture. That was my fault for not reading instructions, however, it worked out for me because I'd rather have the heat it gives off than have it act as a mini-dehumdifier, lol. (At least in the bathroom.) Charge for no more than 12 h in a different area than the one you want to use it in. (The dryer the room you're charging it in, the better.) I also keep one in my laundry room as it's attached to a cold room as well as one in my utility room. I'll probably buy 2 more - one for a closet in the corner of the basement and another for a very deep shoe closet. Also, I brought it when I went oversees & it was perfect for keeping luggage less moist. Was unable to charge it there because the adapter I bought didn't really accommodate the pull out plug, but it functioned well for most of the trip. Will be AWESOME for camping. If you're a camper, get this thing.

Good investment

I have been using this for a while now and it seems to be effective. It takes around 24 hours for the crystals to regain dryness and turn orange, and it lasts about a fortnight— that might depend on the moisture one is is exposing it to. A good even if expensive investment.

A bit of a mystery on if it works.

It seemed to work ok, as the orange crystals turned dark green, a pain to power to dry it out, the crystals turn dark green when they have absorbed moisture and hence need to be heated via the mains electric however the plug is USA, so need an adapter, but I have found that the crystals should turn back to orange after 12 hours on the electric socket, mine still remain dark green, so I have no idea if they will work, I’ve given up and bought a probreeze similar product which actually works as stated ie goes back to orange and is supplied with a uk plug
