Question of EXACT compatibility?

The filter seems professionally made and packaged. The package lists a variety of different tractors that it will fit. My Briggs & Stratton Intek engine manual lists a part number 492932S for a STANDARD filter (black), and a 696854 as a PREMIUM filter (yellow). The box that the new filter came in does list the 492932 as well as a couple of other Briggs & Stratton numbers that it will replace. The product description lists even more numbers that they say this filter will replace (including the premium 696854) - so I ordered it, as I wanted the premium (higher capacity) filter. HOWEVER, even though it's packaging says Premium (and who knows what that means), (and the product color is black) it does NOT list the Premium 696854 on the package it came in. You would think that if it actually was made to higher standards to meet the spec of a Briggs & Stratton defined PREMIUM filter, that they would want to advertise that. SO, is it or is it not a higher capacity Premium filter (especially as defined or spec'd by Briggs & Stratton??? Rather disappointed at this point.

Well labeled, good value for a mower

Good value and well labeled; common brand model-numbers cross reference is printed directly on the filter, very convenient. Fits well, looks good, seems just fine for a mower. I might get a name-brand if it were fitter to a generator that my life support was connected to.

Replacement for John Deere D130

Ordered this for my John Deere D130. Fits perfect and seems to be a decent quality. It runs about 1/2 the price of the Deere filter so it’s a bargain for sure. Just wanted to let others know it does indeed fit the D130.

The filter fit perfectly, without any difficulty at all. Seems to be a perfect replacement for my OEM John Deere one. And, at half the price, I'll be getting this one for my next oil change too!

A little too large in diameter for my Craftsman with a Chinese engine

Made in China, yet a little too large in diameter for my Craftsman with a Chinese engine. It works, doesn't leak. Cheap. I wish they made one just a wee bit smaller.
