smells wonderful, but caused my face to breakout

Minty Kick

I was a little weirded out by this face wash when I opened it. I haven't seen a facial cleanser like this that has little bubble/green scrubbing things in it. Usually, I see that for body wash. It's just ok from a cleansing standpoint. It felt a little bit hash, actually. I do really like the kinda minty/refreshing feeling you get it, but I feel like it's a little bit harsh for normal skin. Obviously, not every product is for every person- but for me, it was just ok.

Better for body wash

There are good things about this - it is cruelty free, has pretty health ingredients, and is gentle and cleansing while also being refreshingly minty. However, the charcoal and seaweed "bursts" are problematic, if I'm not very careful one will get in my eye, or one will get left behind on my skin then smear black on my face! Its too bed because otherwise the cleanser is gentle and doesn't sting the eyes. The bursts are less problematic as a body wash. Finally, this could have been a fluke but mine arrived with the seal broken. It was stuck in the top of the cap unstead of on top of the bottle, so it wouldn't dispense through the pop top until I fished out the seal with tweezers.

Perfect cleanser

Leaves my face feeling nice and clean, goes along with my skincare, doesn't react with the other products I use.

Cleaning Power isn't Enough for Oily Skin

e.fek.tiv beauty I bought this facial cleanser as a replacement for my boyfriend and he doesn't like it as much. As a person who has oily skin, he feels that the cleaning power isn't good enough for him and he has to wash his face twice to get the feelings that he like. I'm a dry skin person and I'm usually okay with most cleanser. This facial cleaning gel works for me. But I also feel it's just an okay product considering the price. There're many great options that are cheaper and works better. I don't want to discourage people from trying this but I won't recommend neither.

Gentle, cooling sensation.

I like that this product is made from very natural and safe ingredients. It contains no parabens, sulfates, or synthetic fragrances. The product has a beautiful color of bluish green with flecks of seaweed throughout. The flecks dissolve as you lather the cleanser into your skin. It created a cooling sensation on your skin. The smell is light and minty. It rinses clean with no dryness at all. I have dry, sensitive skin, and this cleanser causes no issues for me. Unfortunately, the safety seal came in adhered and stuck in the top of the lid. Otherwise, I highly recommend this cleanser.

Not really "e.fek.tiv"

Nothing too special about the cleanser. Was actually a bit drying for my combination skin. Can definitely find better cleansers for lower prices...

I love this cleanser!

This cleanser has worked great for me. It does a good job of cleansing my face and feels good while cleansing. I’ve never heard of e.gel.tiv brand before but I will look for it now. I don’t mind paying a little more for a cleanser with good ingredients and one that leaves my face clean and feeling soft!
