Did not absorb moisture like other products I have used. It was slow to absorb over time.

So far it is good
It is hard for me to tell if this product really does its job because I live in a dry climate on the central west coast. I use it in a small safe to keep pistols and paper dry and it certainly is dry there. I was initially worried about damage caused by the chemicals, but after talking to the manufacturer this is a non issue as long as you are careful to make sure the paper pouch does not contact stored goods. One side is heavy waxed paper and you can lay the pouch on this without removing the peel if you want. The wax surface is an effective barrier and I have had no problems. So far, so good. Those of you who live in the mid-West or tropics will be doing the real testing.

Worked great in shipping container
I recently completed a long distance move (to and from very humid climates) and i used a 1800packrat container to move my furniture and various boxes filled with electronics, accessories and other stuff. I bought 3 of the 2 packs (6 total) and all 6 packs were filled with water after the near 2 week journey. All of my stuff was dry and all the electronics undamaged. I used a 16 foot container. Would definitely recommend and buy these again.

Works great!
Worked great in our POD container! Get a few of them, they fill up more than you think! Moisture is gross when you're talking about storing your things for any sort of time! We had 4 for our large POD container and only stored our things for a month. The Water bags were full by the time we opened it back up again. Definitely get more than you think you'll need. I probably should have put 6 in!

Doesn't last long enough for the price
Had high hopes for this because I have high humidity due to not turning on a/c until it's 79 or 80 degrees (I'm always cold/thyroid) and like to keep about 5 windows open when home but have visible mold problems in several places. Trying to avoid the high expense of buying 3 dehumidifiers recommended by professional company (and my house is only 1300 square feet!) and also the huge increase in electric bills to run them. Tried these in 2 SMALL closets, and within a week they had turned to gel. I just can't justify the cost in replacing them every week. The closets I had them in did not have mold nor any mildew or musty odor, so don't understand why they would be used up so fast. Have had luck with Eva-Dry "rechargeables", different company.

Dries like a desert wind!
This summer has to be one of the wettest we have seen. On top of that, we sprung a leak when a valve failed in our holiday trailer. We entered the door and were hit with a wall of humidity that can’t be described accurately. We placed these in our travel trailer and they dried the cupboards out “like nobodies business”. We would recommend these things to everyone with no hesitation. The plan now is to place several inside the trailer when we winterize. This is an outstanding product.
