Perfect puppy gate

Sturdy gate, fits tightly in the doorway and doesn't fall in even when dogs jump at it

Not really a pressure gate

I have an older style gate of this, but it doesn’t stay open like this newer version. Unfortunately this version is not steady unless you screw in the holders that come with it into the wall to hold the pressure mount. Not what I wanted but we’re keeping it. We have to tiptoe around this gate so we don’t accidentally hit it or will move and come off. Unless you plan to screw the holders in the wall I would not recommend the gate especially as a safety gate.

Ruined my decor

So upon following instructions and using the self adhesive wall plates I attached to my door frame. On fitting the gate, it did not fit the 75cm gap. Once I managed to squeeze into place I was unable to open or close the gate due to it being to tight. The lock then broke. The top part has two slider parts one goes in and the others supposed to push in on the gate and open, but it didn't due to tight fitting. The gate then broke. I then had to send it back and on taking the scew caps off the wall, the adhesive ripped all the gloss off. The gloss I used is no longer available, so now I'm having to redecorate the whole stairs and landing to fix this mess on the door frame. The seller sent replacement. That didn't fit either, but taking the wheely tighteners off the screws I n a aged to fit it into the frame of a different door. Horrible gate. Sizes are misleading and wrong. Once the wheel tighteners are removed on one side, it fits and is OK. The other day I got the tip of my finger trapped in the lock causing it to pinch my finger tip, there was lots of blood. Don't know how it's a safety gate if an adult was able to get figer caught in locking mechanism fap surely a child can. Check my pictures to see what I mean. There's cheaper and better available out there. Pros: it's grey, stays open when not in use. Con: nightmare to fit. Baby can easily open if sliding the lock ontop and wriggling gate. It only takes a slide of lock to the side and lift to open. Wouldn't recommend. Seller was great in getting replacement to me.

Not pressure fit, looks stylish

I used this for my baby who loves to crawl around the house I have to say installation was easy. However, it is NOT a pressure it gate it requires screws onto the wall! So annoying because it doesn’t state that it does pure reason I purchased it! ALSO! Why it loses a star is because you press it to open but to shut it it’s soooo difficult you have to really push it hard to click it back you can’t press it to shut it. So annoying

Great but no protection for hard floors

Easy to install, works well. Didn't bother with the wall cups despite the instructions telling me to - can't see how they could be needed for a normal doorway though I get the extra security benefit if used for stairs. Only gripe really is the bottom is just painted metal. I have a polished tile floor so I was not willing to risk it scratching. I believe this would be a concern for any hard floor. I solved this problem by using cut-to-size sticky-back furniture pads on the bottom, as pictured. With that mod in place these are 5/5. Not sure why they don't have some sort of foam or rubber bottom out of the box.

Works great

I use this at the top of the stairs, to stop my old dog falling down them. Although to be fair I could probably just use a pile of socks and he wouldn't know how to get past them. The product works flawlessly. I'm going through the gate all the time and it holds up, and still works perfectly. You sort of have to lift the door as you open, but you get used to that quickly.

Baby stair gate

This is a great stair gate. I had previous bought 3 cuggl gates in grey as I liked the colour but 2 out of 3 failed within months, so I looked for another manufacturer that did grey gates and I came across this one. It is so much better. It even stays open when required, rather than having to use a can to prop the gate open. I would definitely recommend
