Great idea, but not very durable

My podiatrist taped my foot to help with a fallen arch and for pre-bunion surgery comfort. He also said to keep the tape dry, so I got this to use when I shower. It does keep the foot dry while it's on, but the combination of the rubber gasket and plastic rim means you basically have a bowl that collects water. So, remember to tip it to one side before you take it off. After a little over a week of use, though, the rubber gasket has pulled out of the plastic ring, and now it's pretty much useless unless I can figure out how to take the plastic ring apart. Given how cheap it was I may just look for another one. It worked great while it lasted.

Leak-proofish. Emphasis on the -ish.

It’s a great product at a reasonable price, (unlike a lot of durable medical equipment), but don’t solely rely on this to be 100% protection in the shower if you’re using the boot version. I had a couple of sneaky leaky drips and had to use this along with the garbage bag duct taped to my calf/shin. The garbage bag duct taped to your leg also won’t be enough, so carefully slide this on over your wound/cast and position it comfortably then cover the whole thing with a small garbage bag and tape that to your leg, (use a skin safe tape unlike me). That will ensure that your cast/wound/whatever is safe from water as you take that long, necessary post-procedural shower. The human leg isn’t consistent in diameter, and as muscles contract and move it can create a little lip between the gasket and your skin, and as water runs down it will find a way to get in any crevice. It’s a good product, but none of them will be perfect, (or else you would never get you foot in it in the first place).

Not recommend

Very easy to use, semi comfortable and is durable;however, it does not keep the foot dry which in my understanding is the purpose. If you need to keep your foot dry and have only the ability to shower I don't recommend

Best solution for post foot surgery

The product is very easy to use, I used it for taking shower after my foot surgery and it works really well to keep my dressing dry.

Easy

This boot is easy to use and will protect the foot from moisture. I was in an area with contaminated tap water. I wanted to keep it off my foot. I did not have a bandage or cast.

Great if used correctly

When I first tried this product everything got wet and it was a huge issue. However I meant to return it but then forgot and a few days later I decided to give it one more chance this time I took off the special shoe I have to wear in order to walk on my foot (I had kept this on the first time) I placed a towel at the bottom (just in case water got in again and also for added support) without the shoe this came further up my leg and was in fact water proof. I would not recommend shaving in it as when you bend or move your leg it can break the seal. However the key to using this is that the seal is high up on your leg at least 6 inches above your ankle. The first time I used this it was not and that is how the water was able to get it.

Product is good.

I love this. I have autoimmune disease on my feet. So using this in the shower is amazing. Water will not affect my feet.

Very effective product not a drop of water on the foot, ideal for shower and I recommend it. Produit très efficace pas une goutte d'eau sur le pied, idéal pour la douche et je le recommande .

Did not work at all

Didn't work, and wasn't able to return. May work for larger legs, but did not work for me. Would have given it a zero star if that was an option. Wouldn't recommend!
