A Great Workshop Drill
This is an excellent drill for many reasons. It is not too bulky to handle easily. It is very powerful, and the high rpm speed makes it very effective. I really like the keyed chuck. I had been using cordless drills with keyless chucks, and had a lot of trouble drilling in hardwood due to the chuck slipping around the drill bit, especially with the smaller diameter drill bits. With this drill, the problem is solved! The keyed chuck holds the bits very tightly--no more slipping. I highly recommend this as a convenient and high quality workshop drill.

Next best thing to a laser!!
This thing is fast!! If you're like me and have to pilot a large number of holes through steel, this is your ticket. Throw a good quality small diameter bit in, and you're good to go. The chuck is limited to 1/4 inch but you don't want to be putting a bigger bit in this as I've destroyed similar dewalt drills that just couldn't handle the torque. Also, you'll likely melt the drill bits down when the diameters get bigger. For what it is, there is no other drill on the market like this. The Milwaukee 4000 rpm drill is a fair bit bigger and there's a Makita that they no longer make and it didn't have a variable speed. My only beef is that the chuck is slightly wobbly and this tick's me off at this price!! I purchased a 1/4 inch jacobs chuck to replace the original one but have yet to do the swap.

Great, heavy-duty product
Great, heavy-duty product. Very high RPM (4000) for a hand drill makes it perfect for the thousands of small holes I need to drill in aluminum sheet. I was using an air-drill but I got tired of the compressor turning on every 4 minutes. Down side? It's big. At least as big as a 3/8 chuck drill and along with the size and it's "Heavy" duty rating is it's actual weight. Pretty heavy. Still the best solution for what I need to do and 1 of the only 2 options that I could find.

A powerful drill for production work.
This is a great drill. it's a little larger than I'd like and the chuck is 3/8" (I would have preferred a 1/4") but it's a solid drill built to exacting tolerances. The higher RPM of this drill makes it ideal when drilling with smaller drill bits, something that the larger drills don't have.

Super Duper!
Drilled a hundred 1/8-inch pilot-holes in structural-tubing at 4000-rpm. Used a single Drill Hog M42 bit, no lubrication, and averaged three-seconds per hole. Build-quality significantly superior to DeWalt battery-tools. No adverse-issue with the generic chuck. Update: Chuck needs replacement after two-years, whereas the chuck on my Hole-Shooter lasted thirty-years. A dab of 400-grit diamond lapping-paste on the bit helps. OEM chuck costs $80, recommend Rohm ROH871025 from Amazon. Still a five-star product!

No drill bits included
I thought the drill came with 1/4" drill bit. Disappointed that it did not.

Missing part
This drill was sent without a drill chuck key. Cannot use this drill without the drill chuck key.

Good Drill
The best drill we have been able to find for our shop, but like most drills these days, the chuck is inferior. Replace the chuck with a high quality one and you got yourself a good drill.
