General purpose extension cord use.

the price i paid was good, the only thing I do not think this item will stand a lot of misuse, say from being used in a professional installation company, but for general use by a home owner it will work fine, the previous one of these but a different make went missing when i had some work done by contractors and it was all steel not pressure molded plastic, just my observation.

It is not as sturdy as the picture shows. Lots of plastic, which makes it light though. It surely works and functions well.

Seems like it may be too lighly made. Time will tell. I have used it several times without any problem. But it is pretty flimsy. They just don't make things like they used to. Maybe they don't need to. Time will tell.

Is Okay

I need a way to contain 50 feet of oxygen tubing that I use to get around the house. I wanted a way to get it all out of the way at night without it kinking. This is too big and there isn't a good way to attach the tubing to it to be able to wind it up. Hubby will use it in his shop.

This device makes life much easier when you need a long length of electrical cord. Having four outlets on the side is an awesome feature. I am thinking about purchasing another.

Good Built, practical use, but not thoughtful design

I really like this wire reel. however I think there is a problem (might not be for all but in my case its applicable). This wire reel come with male connector plug and usually wire cords (for example 16 gauge) has one end with male connector plug and other end with female connector plug. If we use female connector to connect wire cord with this reel and turn the reel to tie wire then on other side we are left with male plug. Here in Canada tools like lawn mower, blower etc.. usually comes with male connector plugs in this scenario we can not connect two male until we are using an connection in between. Altogether, I did my modification with wire to make it more functional for me. I like how this reel is built in term of quality, motion and stability on ground while using lawn mover etc.

Fits wire as expected. A little flimsy although does the job I wanted

Very convenient and did what I expected. Was in plastic and not as sturdy as I hoped. Will see how durable it will be over time. Otherwise a great purchase. A little difficult to roll up the wire given how lightweight and small it is. Need to hold down with foot while turning crank.

The reel needs to be placed at the worksite then you reel the male plug back to your power source. A lot of others work the opposite way. Yhev4 outlets built into the reel is very convenient. No power bars required
