A Nice Decoration Piece for Front Door

This Design Toscano Viceroy Monarch Butterfly on Rock Statue adds a happy mood at our front steps. The only complaint I have is it's not really life-like. You can see immediately it's fake, but still, it's quite pleasing to the mind. I recommend it!

Terribly disappointing

I've wanted this item for years. And I own a lot of Design Toscano. THIS is NOT Design Toscano. And if it is, they've really let their quality slip. The butterfly looks like it was painted by a child. It's nothing like the photo, and theres a big black dot off center in the middle of the butterfly. On the sides, you can see a huge glob of glue, unpainted. Looks terrible. I waited so long to buy this item because it always felt so expensive to me for something so small. But I really really wanted it; so I finally decided to splurge and treat myself. I couldn't be more disappointed. If this is really Design Toscano, then shame on them for allowing their quality control to slip so low. And if this is not Design Toscano, then shame on the vendor.

Just ugly......hand painted and poorly done

So disappointing.....bought this as a gift. Very excited to receive the package only to see how horribly painted it was. Nothing like the picture. Not beautiful at all. So much hot glue pertruding from the rock where the butterfly was inserted. The description is a lie!

Disappointing. The photo shows a much prettier Monarch butterfly than the actual statuette. The actual product appears roughly finished with an absence of the delicate features of a real Monarch butterfly.
