works great!

The side air channel makes the pull up action much easier by breaking the vacuum in the sand. The stainless steel is awesome so rust is not an issue!

Nice gun, will last for years.

Whether you prefer a shovel or a gun is not debated here. But I found this device superior in that one can still work a "show" after the water has swept up the beach. One of the tricks is not to try and take ALL the depth of sand in one scoop, but to take smaller "bites" down if the surf allows. The fact that this is stainless steel makes it superior to other metals which may rust or corrode in the brine. I'm not sure about aluminum' durability, and I see many PVC (plastic) guns in use as well. I am well pleased with this, and will not return to the shovel again.

Great clam gun!

I used this clam gun with a group of friends who had less expensive versions. This one took much less effort and was highly effective. People were borrowing mine because I quickly caught my limit, while everyone else was busy laboring through their catch.

Look good while clamming.

This stainless steel clam gun looks good which is important for my wife. I gave it to her as a gift, so she could get some razor clams for herself. She liked the look. It is really solid and am sure the 5" inch barrel with work well.

Excellent done. Works well. The clams we have in our freezer are the testament to this.
