Great for dogs and humans.

Bought the pet pad for the back seat originally, then was told by a passenger how easy it was to slide out of the car. My dog slides a little on the cover if I stop quickly, but he is harnessed anyway. I now have these covers on all the seats in my car. And the passenger was right: It is easier to exit the car now. I wash these on a gentle cycle, no soap and they hold up well, drying quickly from a hanger. Good product for dogs and humans!

Good Seat Covers

I already have the bench cover for my backseat and really like it to protect the seat from my pets. The bucket seat also does an excellent job. I put the seat cover on with the strap going around the seat back and the smaller strap looped around the hardware on the seat bottom instead of the headrest. It stays in place well, but I have cloth cover seats. My car is an altima. I love the quilted protection. It keeps the seat from getting wet or dirty. I have not had to wash the covers yet therefore have no comment on that process.

Durable and keeps seat clean

I've now got five of these pet pads. One of them I've had for nine years and its been in continuous use all that time. No signs of wear; its quite durable. The nylon is pretty resistant to dirt; it washes up clean. When its raining, I'll plop my doggie on this seat pad without worry about the seat underneath. Its thick enough to hold any water that my pet drips, although we're talking rain from walking outdoors, not a soaking wet dog that jumped into a lake. I generally just leave this pet pad on the seat all the time. My passengers sit on it, same as my dog, and they've never complained about it being uncomfortable. Neither has my dog.

Needs more straps for securing

Bought this cover because my Lab likes to ride to work with me. I have leather seats and with her moving around so much, this cover tends to slide down. I have made modifications to it; it needs a strap that snaps around the head-rest bars to keep it from slipping down, and something more on the bottom part than one small strap in front (that hooks to what??). The bottom, the part that she sits on, only has the one strap in the center, so the corners fold up or slide around. The material and construction are great, but it might be a little too simple to effectively protect my seats. I'd say with a few tweaks, they'd have 5 stars.

picture is not the item I received

I thought I was ordering the large size that would cover the entire cargo area of my Jeep. But you must read the FINE print that this is a single seat cover! UGH! I wish they would show a picture of EXACTLY what you are ordering and not a picture of something they don't even carry! Talk about false advertising! I am so upset that I wasted my money on this item. Worst part about it is that if I do put it on the passenger seat and my dog sits on the cover it is so slick and slippery he slips right off and into my dashboard! And if I apply the breaks while driving he get slammed into the dashboard. This product is actually DANGEROUS to your pet.

Poor value for money

After I purchased this, I felt like it was a waste of money. A blanket would have done just as well. I had a number of problems. First: There was only one strap to connect it to the seat, so it slid around quite a bit and was not terribly secure. I see that some people sewed on extra straps and such, but...eh, I was in the market for something complete. Second: The buckle on that strap broke after two days of use, rendering it useless. Third: During the two days of use, my dog hated it. It slid around on my leather seat and he could not get a grip on it, so he slid around too. Eventually he gave up on it and hopped into the wheel well and curled up there, refusing to slide around any more. I found a backseat cover made from a canvas-type material that secures in several places for a ridiculously low price at Ross and felt silly for even trying out this one.

Hannibal loves his new cushion

Our 'baby' loves his new seat cushion and wants to go 'bye-bye' with momma all the time. Espeically when it is 'chaeeseburger' night and he gets his own. Oh my our pets are soooo spoiled. Love this item and so easy to clean and Hanney sends a BIG THANK YOU :-)
