Very nice rim protectant. I would rate 4.5 Stars.

Used on my (very difficult to keep clean) 718M rims on the X3. Tip 1: Have some newspaper and put it down first. This was a mess when I opened it. The lid had wet green paste on both sides of the seal under the lid, which came off. It was messy. Plus, when applying the product, it will drip / fly off, and you could have a hard time getting it off of concrete. As I did. First, I power washed the rims at the local do-it-yourself car wash, and scrubbed clean with the brush. Next, I completely dried the rims in all areas Next, I applied Bilt Hammer to aggressively remove all brake dust (some very old), from the rims. I like Bilt Hammer product, however it does have some draw backs. Then, I completely cleaned and dried the rims off before applying MAXcoat. Next, I followed the directions on MAXcoat, applying to the rims (using the Chemical Brothers sponges that I would also recommend). Finally, I wiped off with product (after 15 minutes) using a microfiber cloth (very easy). The results look great. It goes on kind of Goopey. Not like Turtle Wax or something. More like a Tooth Paste actually. It can fly off or get stuck in crevices which might be difficult to remove or clean. However, this product sets up nicely after 15 minutes, and can easily be removed (as it is kind of dry now) with a cloth. I really like this product, and will use it on the rims of all of my cars now. I will update this post after time, to determine if the MAXCoat can protect the rims against brake dust , so that they can be cleaned faster and easier in the future.

Tried using a graphene product which was terrible and may have damaged my wheels. I ran a polish from Adam's polishes and finished with this wax. Worked amazing and I'm finally confident my new wheels are protected!!

MUST BUY!!

For years I've been frustrated with how grimy my wheels would get only days after washing my car. I used every conceivable product touting amazing results in cleaning wheels. To that I say, "hell NO!" So I bought a different kind of product called Chemical Guys Wheel Guard Max Coat and Rim Sealant. I followed the directions and it's as easy as waxing your car. I have used it once and it lasted a month. I washed my car for the first time since using Max Coat and used a foaming wheel cleaner. Previously I had to use a brush to scrub my wheels with the same foaming cleaner. This time I sprayed it on, waited a few minutes and rinsed it off. Due to Max Coat, I didn't need to scrub my wheels. I simply rinsed off the cleaning foam and my wheels were shiny & clean. Chemical Guys Wheel Guard Max Coat and Rim Sealant has earned my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION. Yes, it's a little pricey, but it's worth every penny and will last a long, LONG time!

Great wax for wheels!

I have always used Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish which works great and leaves a beautiful shine to my painted wheels. My previous brands did not help reduce the brake dust that accumulates on the front wheels. Saw the reviews on Amazon for the Chemical Guys Wheel Gaurd Max and gave it a try. Went on smoothly, and by the time I reached the last wheel, the first had dried to a haze. Came out with a beautiful, deep shine. After a week of driving, the brake dust that had accumulated was loose and washed off with a spray of the hose. Used a chamois to dry, and the shine was still on the wheel. Very happy with this product!

Great product

Great product for those (like me) who don't want to use ceramics on your rims(I'm just not mechanically ready yet). Easy to use and I actually see brake dust at the bottom lip of my rims when parked for a while which tells me that this stuff works,

Wow

This product is amazing. Have used other sealants in the last but haven’t really made the wheel shine. This product is great. Really easy to put on but wear gloves it will turn your hand green if you don’t. Wheels have never looked this good

Works Great! (Wear gloves though)

Product works great! What a difference it made to the shine of the rim. It’s been on my rims about a month now and the brake dust just wipes/washes away. You can even tell the buildup just sits on top of the coating versus on your wheel. My only issue is that the green dye they use turns your whole hand green. I recommend wearing rubber gloves when handling it.

Seems to work good, but

It seem to work pretty good but messy to apply. It seems that the solvent has separated from the product. No matter how much I stirred, it would not blend together. It has a texture like stirred up Jello. I suspect it may have gotten frozen at some point as the container is bulging on the bottom. Will not sit flat on bench.

So far so good...

Went on easily.....polished up appropriately....now I am waiting to find out how performs in winter salty conditions...if it does well it could be a 4 or a 5
