We bought these for therapeutic reasons, not sports. Our aging chows have developed back problems and the act of lifting their legs to clear the hurdles is physical therapy recommended by an orthopedic vet. We create a passage to their food bowls that requires them to clear the hurdles on the way to their meals. Works like a charm. Their condition is much improved. Though the cones are not heavy duty, the do fine for our purposes. We have NOT used them outside or as a training device for a sporting event.
