Decent and useful

The entire thing is made of plastic, but is fairly sturdy. The clear plastic top comes off. The dispenser portion is just a hole large enough for the straws to be dispensed. If it fell on the floor, it would probably break, plus all the straw would likely fall out. It's fine for home dispensing, but unless you're careful, you'll be touching more than one straw at a time.

Had to return only hold regular straws I needed it for smoothie straws but other than that it was great

Typical straw holder

It holds straws. Good quality for a plastic straw holder. I wish I would have gotten metal ones. Maybe next time.

doesn't have the clicky jaw dispenser-using for pencils

It's fine. It's chintzy. I taped the top down so my students wouldn't dig for a pencil. I thought it had the dispenser that you had to pull down and flip out one at a time, but nope. The top will fall off if someone knocks it over. Probably buy a different one. Cripes, I'm having the midwestern problem of politeness. PS Giftable? If someone gifted me one of these, I'd think they hated me.

Used as a Pencil Holder in my Classroom

I used this item as a pencil dispenser in my classroom. The kids think that it is cool. My only issue is that if the pencil is too short, it gets stuck in the dispenser and is difficult to get out.

Lid is a bit flimsy

It's a straw holder so pretty straight forward. Easy to clean and fill with straws. Straws come out easily. Only thing is that the lid is a bit flimsy. Would've preferred if it could snap into place so when I'm carrying the container indoors or back indoors, the lid doesn't come off so easily. Other than that, it is a good quality product, so 4 stars!

Sturdy

A decent purchase. Has grips at the bottom so that it stays in place on a countertop. Wish it came in a variety of colours or patterns.
