Plate is nice lightweight. Even though it cannot be microwaved makes a good plate for eating from.

Beautiful plates

Got these just in time for thanksgiving. Everyone went to the table before dinner and would pick them up and were surprised they were Melamine. I got a lot of compliments and one friend wanted the link. I love them and now am buying the salad plates and maybe bowls.

Sturdy Plates that have a great feel and solid color - People don't think they are Melamine! Great company too

Outstanding plates! They are NOT the simple plastic feeling plates but rather these have a touch of "weight" on them to give them a feel of a sturdier plate without actually having the burden of having potential chipped porcelain/heavy plates. Melamine is the way to go. I've had melamine before and they are not as good as this Carlisle brand. I've ordered the bowls too and the small plates. I'm really impressed with this company. I had to contact them regarding another issue and not only are they quick to respond to a question or concern, they stand fully behind their product. Now WHERE do you find THAT anymore these days. Truly, a good sturdy plate and product..

Don't go cheesy- buy these.

These are beautiful! Most melamine plates are super ugly/ cheesy looking, but these are the super exception and are well worth the price! They are just the right weight, and height and will ook fabulous for al fresco dining.
