Sturdy, easy to use, fast shipping

This should be a useful review because I bought the Bosmere kneeler and also bought a similar product locally (a day later) at a big-box garden center. I bought this for Memorial Day to help my 98 yr old aunt with manicuring quite a few graves. (At 98 yrs old, one survives a lot a friends). The Bosmere kneeler arrived on time in the mail and we took both kneelers to the cemetery. By the end of the day, after using both, she only wanted to use the Bosmere garden seat/kneeler over the one I bought from the big box garden center. The Bosmere kneeler was easier to unfold and use. It required less hand strength to open (than the other). The padding for the knees is thicker than the big-box kneeler. It was also much more stable to sit on when flipped over and used as a bench (the other one was shaky and flimsy). With the Bosmere she didn't experience any knee pain at day's end, and getting up was from the seated position was no chore at all. I left the Bosmere with her to keep, since she liked it so much, to assist her with her gardening around her yard. So in short, this product is 98-year-old approved!

Bosmere Kneeler/Garden Seat

I like the Bosmere Kneeler/Garden Seat so much that I bought 2 more (one for a gift & the other for another part of my house). It is very sturdy & light enough to carry from one place to another. I use mine inside my house. I have 2 complaints, however. 1. It definitely could be softer. It hurts my knees to the point of causing repeated bruising. 2. The 1st one I bought was wider than the other 2 I bought which isn't as good for sitting.

Is as presented.

This kneeler/seat is compact when folded, and works well when set up. My knees are very arthritic, which prevents me from kneeling on the floor to clean lower cabinets, shelves, and baseboards. Also would work in the garden, or while painting areas of your home. On a 'good' day, I can actually kneel on this frame, and stay there for a while, thanks to the thick, dense, foam rubber pad. If I get tired of kneeling, I can flip it over and sit. It folds and unfolds quite easily. I like it.

This garden seat is not as sturdy as I expected

When I received this seat I had high expectations. I am in my seventies and love to work in the yard. This seat is really not that sturdy. The construction of the side poles and the latches to open and close, on mine, one side was off a little and took some doing to snap the folding seat up. Getting up and down on it is also a bit shaky. The bars move and I'm afraid they will give way and I will slip. My son is going to reinforce the bars and I will keep the seat open and not fold it. I don't want to send it back because is too much of a hassle.

Works for old knees and old farts

Purchased for my husband, who fussed and cussed at "a needless expenditure", until it got here and he used it for the first time. We are both advanced in age and the joints are not as flexible as they once were, so getting down on his knees is a bit of an effort. Getting up is even more challenging. Now, he has a bit of a cushion under his knees and getting up he has the assist of handles or legs. He said the seat is just the right height for him to work on his plant stands while sitting. He agrees, it is one the best purchases HE has made recently.

Plant Your Garden With Ease

As a senior, it's difficult these days getting up from a kneeling position without looking like a complete fool, so this gadget saved the day and allowed me to plant flowers in a more comfortable manner and the handles allowed me to get up with some semblance of grace.

Great all around bench or kneeler

The height is perfect for sitting while gardening, and the cushion has enough padding to be good on my knees while kneeling. I have not had any problems with rust or any damage from leaving it out in the rain. It folds out easily, and it actually looks cute sitting on my back porch when not in use. I just prop my watering can on top of it and use it as a table. Well worth the money, even if it is more expensive than other brands. It is well, constructed and very strong. I am pleased with this purchase.

A real "knee saver"

Easy to open and close. We don't have a garden but this little item is handy everywhere in the house and garage. Appears to be well-built and stores away in a very small place. I recommend it!

Lightweight and sturdy

This item replaced a similar kneeler which was many years old. It is very sturdy and much lighter than the previous one and easy to fold/unfold when needed. It should last for a long time.
