Outstanding chairs

Easy to assemble..Heavy wood , probably acacia since being made in Vietnam....Don't think they have many oak trees....Not to HAPPY about where it is made but better than China I guess...They are quality and should last a long time...I would purchase again.....

Excellent quality

I love the quality. I needed a stool to stand on to water my hanging plants and this is sturdy enough for this. Assembly tip - use the long side of the Allen wrench like screwdriver. It seems like the short end will hit and scratch the legs but it doesn’t!

Great counter stools!

We needed this specific height and there weren’t many options for backless but comfortable. So many stools are too narrow or a seat base to be comfortable. These look great, we’re so easy to build and are quite comfortable. I bought one more and now have 3

Nice chairs

I like the chairs as they are a very good quality and fairly easy to put together…my only reservation was that they were actually a cream color not a true white so I had to paint them to get the desired look. I have provided a picture to show the difference in color…hope that helps. I bought 3 and they now look great in my kitchen.

Looks great but hard to assemble

Writing this review to help others considering purchasing this stool, and for those who have purchased it as I have some tips/advice. First off, I didn’t realize that this stool required assembly (my fault for not reading properly). I ordered two of the white square rush stools. After assembling them, they turned out great. They’re sturdy, and look perfect in my place. However, the assembly was SO time consuming. You have to screw 8 bolts in using the provided Allen wrench, plus a bunch of other screws which I HIGHLY recommend using an electric screwdriver with. The slot for the bolts is shallow and I made the mistake of using the L shaped end of the Allen wrench for the first stool. The bolts have a very fine thread so it took FOREVER to slowly tighten each bolt in as you can only do tiny quarter turns of the bolt. It took about 3 hours to assemble the stool and my hands killed from the work. However, my dad showed me a trick and saved me a lot of time with the second stool. Use the rounded end of the Allen wrench to screw the bolts in. It allows you to rotate the wrench and the screw goes in quicker. Next complaint would be that the screws required for the chair leg rods do not have a pre-drilled hole that the screws go into so it requires a lot of manual strength in your hands to tighten the screws if you’re using a standard screwdriver. I used my electric one which was a lifesaver. And lastly the screws they provide to fasten the rush seat cover are way too short. The tip of the screw barely touches the seat so my dad found some longer screws to properly fasten the seat down. They turned out great but I’m so glad I only needed two. Way more time consuming than I expected.

Love the look

These stools match perfectly with my Crate and Barrel kitchen chairs. No one would ever know that They were an inexpensive find on Amazon.

comfort and perfect height

very well made and sturdy! this stool is very easy to put together and comes with everything you need-minus a phillips head screw driver. the directions are easy to read. took me about 20 minutes to put together.

Gorgeous, but not very comfortable

This stool is nice, but it's not very comfortable. The rush seat is awkward and pinches on bare skin (if you are wearing shorts, it's not comfortable). This is not a product default, whatsoever. I bought it based on its' looks and it really is a beautiful addition to our kitchen, however, I wish I had bought something with a smooth seat.
