Great Jack Stands

The jack stands are great, strong and well built. The only issues is the concave area on top of the jack where the car frame should rest is too narrow.

These stands are meant for even larger loads than 6 tons.. Awesome in every way. Amazing at the price!

Sturdy Jack Stands With an Extra Locking Safety Feature

I bought these to replace my recalled Harbor Freight jack stands. I like these because they are 3-ton each (6 ton in total) and they have the extra locking mechanism as a safety feature. I put these under the front axle of my 5000 lb Jeep and left it sitting on the stands for over a week. Welds are good and nothing appears to have disformed. They could be shipped better though. Mine came with the powder coating already flaking off because they clearly got knocked around in shipment. But these are jack stands. I really don't care what they look like as long as they don't break.

these 6 ton jackstands work great. they come with a saftey pin. used them on my travel trailer to work on suspension.

Great product but beware of shipping

The product itself is great but the shipping was less than desirable. Luckily the product only received cosmetic damages consisting of chipped and scratched paint. The weld are all in tack but if you could go bowling with a set of Jack stands that’s what the shipping company did. Highly suggest the shipper to pack better and not to send in the regular package with NO protection. Overall the product looks to be high quality with clean welds and sturdy materials.

Perfect Welds!

These are of great quality and have perfect welds on every single unit I have. I purchased two sets of the 6 ton and one set each of the 2 and 3 ton. ALL, every single unit, has perfect welds. These are safe and I highly recommend them. To the people saying they are not safe, you simply received a bad run, but as of today 02/18/2014 all 8 individual units I have are perfect and I have been working under them woth peace of mind for the last week. Why not re-order? Every product has a few bad apples. Actually, even if the weld on these were not perfect(they are on mine) unless you went far over the rated weight I just cant see how these could possible fail, they are solid and stable. It's simple, if you do get one with a bad weld just replace it free using Amazon. These are as good as my older 80.00-100.00 units and I will not spend 80.00 on jack stands ever again! I will re-rate these in several months, but I don't see anything changing. For now 5 stars 6, 3 and 2 ton preference: Without question my favorite are the 6 ton, they are so beefy and are always my first choice. They are a bit too tall for the sides of my 2000 Monte Carlo though. If the 6 ton are too tall as they are for my 2000 Monte(on the sides at least) and you are trying to decide between the 2 and 3 ton 100% go for the 3 ton. In my experience, at least for this jack stand line, there is nothing the 3 ton won't fit that the 2 ton will and the difference in build quality is substantial. Since the price difference is only 4.00 pass on the 2 ton, the 3 ton are far better and only 1.5" total taller. I am not sure why they even make a 2 ton, I guess for the people who want to save 4.00, but the diff in price is not worth the durability difference. I suggest to pay the 4.00. Or maybe there are cars where the 1.5" does makes a difference, but any jack I have ever used goes higher than the lowest setting on the 2 and 3 ton jack stands by several inches, even on the sides of a low vehicle. I consider my car very low and the 3 ton work fine. Obviously I prefer the 3 ton over the 2 by a far margin. Only use the 2 ton if you are forced into it they are simply not the value of the 3 ton stands.

Good tools.

Well made, and sturdy. The extra safety pin is a nice touch that may make make you feel a little safer. Don't worry about scratching them; they're industrial tools. I've noticed some complaints about received stands with paint scratches.. Who cares? These are made to save your life, and will get scratched up and dirty over time. Also, the welds are nice, and very clean looking. What is the deal with weird reviewers? They are heavy, and if they have to travel far in their box, they may break free and fall out.

Work great!

Caught these for my stepdad for Christmas and he loves them. A year later he still uses them almost daily (hobby mechanic) only complaint is they’re a bit tall at their lowest height have to Jack my Jetta up to the moon to even get it on the jacks lol Bought 4 of these and they’re very sturdy, works for everything from my Jetta to my stepdads extended crew cab with no issues of safety.

Weld are horrifying

These weld look like they were done by my 12 year old little brother. Torin used to be a great brand. Idk what happened but for a 6 ton jack stand I would not trust these.
