Great for Living room
My wife and I thought we would use a pack n play in the living room, when we brought the baby home we quickly realized we did not like that we couldn't see in and get our son fast. This is well worth the money if you plan to keep newborn near you in living room. We can see from the couch and recliner how he is doing. We are able to take a nap and see if once we wake up. Every once of sleep is important now that we are home.

I bought this for a friend’s baby shower that I didn’t attend. He seemed to like it. Amazon said that it would tell me a joke, if I wrote 3 more reviews. I want to see what this joke is all about.

Right fine bassinet...but NOT great with cats & tricky after c-section
We bought this bassinet, because it was one of the top recommended ones for keeping cats out of the sleeping space. It 100% FAILED at this, so if you are looking for a cat-safe bassinet this is NOT it. Our enterprising young cat leapt on top in the first baby-less test--as we knew he would--and the screen top instantly collapsed, a situation arguably more dangerous than just having an open top from the start. Note--try the Big Oshi brand one instead, as the canopy on that one stood up to the cat test--no bowing or collapsing, and it has kept our cat safely out of the bassinet (that model had some issues with a subpar mattress situation but that is neither here nor there). For a compact travel bassinet or something to use for light trips outside, this would be great though. It's really light and folds up easily. The rocking feature is really nice. A note for c-section moms--it is pretty low to the ground, so it can be a little tricky for the first few weeks to bend enough to get baby in and out. Overall--a nice product but definitely not what you want if you are keeping a frisky cat out.

Nice Bassinet
While I do love the bassinet, I’m not so fond that it’s short and does not extend up. It’s not what I was expecting. I bought the bassinet in advance, this while be my second child and with a c-section it won’t be convenient as I need to bend down just to put baby in and take baby out. I’ll give an update later as I will be testing it out.

Beautiful Bassinet!
Get this bassinet! This Baby Delight bedside bassinet is beautiful. Very easy to assemble, I’m 34 weeks pregnant and was able to assemble it alone, just a couple snap in place pieces and it’s done! It’s very sleek and modern. I love how neutral the color is & goes great with our nursery and living room decor. Folds up so easy for storage and traveling, it will do great in our trailer when we go camping! Such a great buy, I definitely would recommend 10/10! ⭐️

Mattress doesn’t flatten out
We like the simplicity of this bassinet, the mesh design, and the portability, but it is very high - you will have to get out of bed to pull your baby out unless you have a very raised bed. The canopy leaves much to be desired, but is still useful. We’ve been using it for two weeks now and our problem with it is the huge lump across the mattress caused by its being folded in half in the box. There is no getting this lump out…we ordered it over a month in advance and tried all we could to fix this issue. It creates an uneven surface and cannot be comfortable for the baby. I contacted Baby Delight to see about a replacement shipped to us rolled rather than folded and have yet to hear back. I wish we would have returned it for one that had adjustable height and a mattress that was completely flat, but who knows where the box is now.

Bassinet is perfect for a newborn. My baby is now two months and still using it, highly recommend this purchase.
