Rice cooker

Perfect size for 2 people. This is my second one.

Nice for two small servings, but it sometimes overflows.

I make basmati rice in this using 1/2 cup of rice and a cup of water. We are not big rice eaters, so this is enough to make a side dish for the two of us. If I use the “cup” that comes with it, which is closer to 3/4 cup, it overflows a bit. It also overflows if I add a teaspoon of butter.

Works as expected but I wish it had a shutoff button

For the price it's nice and it's been a design that's worked fine for decades. My only grip is that it it never shuts off while plugged in. It only goes to warming mode. Surely technology has evolved enough in the last 50 years to add this feature.

Perfect size for one person

I brought this for someone as a gift. She loved it. I can’t really say how it cooks or clean because as I just stated it was gift it I can say it’s a perfect size if you live alone and want something cute a small for your kitchen counter

Great rice cooker

Does what it says it does. Easy to clean. Doesn’t make a mess when cooking rice some some of my previous coolers have.

So easy to clean!

I like the size of this rice cooker perfect for a family of 5. I use it every day, within 15-20 minutes I have perfect cooked rice. Only problem is that name of product is coming off more every time I use it.

Cheap and terrific!

The media could not be loaded. This is the third rice cooker I have owned. I had an Aroma for years and it finally broke because I accidentally dropped it and broke the handle. Then I replaced it with a Korean brand one from H Mart, which only lasted a few years and suddenly one day died. So I decided to try Aroma again. It does not matter that it is inexpensive! It does a great job! The rice is fluffy and delicious and better than it was with the more expensive Korean rice maker. If you do not own a rice maker what are you waiting for? They are inexpensive and it makes making rice so easy and frees you up to do other cooking tasks. I cannot recommend this strongly enough!

Very disappointing

I used this rice cooker to prepare one (1) cup (using the included 180mL measuring cup) of brown rice. I followed all instructions, including rinsing the excess starch from the rice before cooking. Despite this, the inner pot boiled over during the "cook" phase, sputtering starchy rice water all over my countertop and accumulating on top of the lid. When the "cook" phase completed I immediately turned the rice cooker off (by unplugging it). The rice was slightly burnt on the bottom. The non-stick inner pot was fairly easy to clean, but otherwise this product is a disappointment.

Perfect but not 6 cups

Does the job well. Not a real 6 cup but 4 cups which is perfect for my need.
