Works great!

I have two family members in my house who use dandruff shampoo. They say this shampoo works just as well as head and shoulders shampoo but at a fraction of the price!

Not as good as head and shoulders but does the job

I suffer from year-round dandruff, and the only product that balances my scalp is head and shoulders, I was curious about the shampoo, it’s at a good price point, and it’s comparable to head and shoulders. I typically use the smooth and silky one, I find myself using more of this product in comparison to head and shoulders. It does leave my hair a little drier, will probably not use again

Outstanding Shampoo

You can forget Head & Shoulders, this amazing Amazon Basics Dandruff Shampoo beats it by a mile. I tried many dandruff shampoos over the years, but this is by far the best. Even after the first time I could see the difference to all those brand shampoos, which are far more expensive. This works great and smells nice. Highly recommended - 5 stars!!

Pretty standard shampoo

Pretty standard anti-dandruff shampoo. And by “pretty standard”, I mean this is identical to the Suave anti dandruff shampoo I usually use. Same consistency, same color, even the same smell. I wonder who makes it?

Exactly what it seems to be

This is definitely just Head and Shoulders 2 in 1 in a slightly different bottle with a different label. The shape of the bottle is even very similar, just not exact. The product has the same active ingredient. It smells exactly the same. It even has the exact same thickness and consistency. Very cool to see Amazon selling name brand products in this form for so cheap. I have worked in production plants most of my adult life and it's stupidly easy to change packaging over and just keep making the same product. That's more than likely what happened here. That said, the smell is okay. You can definitely tell from the scent that it's a dandruff shampoo as it's a little strong. It's not really unpleasant, just not as flowery as a lot of other shampoos. It's fine for me and my girlfriend doesnt mind it. The pour is nice and thick and gloppy just like the name brand stuff. It has the same soothing effect as Head and Shoulders on my itchy scalp, and leaves my rough, greasy hair soft and pleasant to run fingers through. The conditioner part of the shampoo seems to do its job. I lather my head up and work the shampoo in thoroughly, then leave it there while I lather the rest of my body, then rinse all at once. Seems to have the desired effect. My head is itch-free and the flakes are greatly reduced after one shower. I really have to applaud Amazon for their Solimo brand products. Take something tried and true, then sell it in bulk for dirt cheap. Quality stuff here.
