Great shade, attached EZ fill sandbags keep in place.

Pops-up in seconds. Folds into a compact tube for transport. The attached sandbags are ingenious. Unfold one side, fill with sand and close up. To empty, fold the top back by detaching it (velcro), lift up and the sand empties.

What I was looking for.

Wow, this thing is pretty awesome. Easy to open and set up. Easy to fold and pack away. Honestly, I'm in love with this tent. I live in Hawai'i so going to the beach is a given. I was looking for a small, pop-up beach tent that I could take to just chill in with a cooler, etc. This thing is the one. For the price, it's good. I didn't expect it to be made out of anything fancy. The fabric is similar to a camping tent, the mesh windows seem a little fragile but it holds up. Since Covid -19 and the shutdown (aren't allowed to go beach and such) I haven't been able to take it on the sand but using it in the backyard a few times, I already know it's what I wanted. Height clearance is good enough for 2 (3 people would be crowded but doable). The breeze can go through the little mesh windows easily so it doesn't feel super hot. It blocks out most sun but the tent can heat up if under direct sunlight (duh) and sun can filter through the windows according to the direction it rises/sets (duh again). The included pegs are generic (haven't tried it in the sand yet but I doubt they would do much on a windy day). What really is good about this for the sand is the included detached sand bags (4 of em) and even the sand pockets on the side of the tent (3 in all for the sides and back). Fill those suckas up and the tent is going nowhere. Opening the tent up is super easy, just don't get too rough because it is plastic. So as long as you ain't punching or yanking em hard, it should last a bit. Closing up is easy too, just, again, don't be rough. Storing it is super simple and it's lightweight so it's not cumbersome at all. Can't wait to try this out at the actual beach once all this Covid-19 crap is through.

Great tent!

I wanted something that could be assembled easily and quickly. I previously had a tent that had the collapsible rods that you have to thread through the fabric, and that was always a good 10 minutes of set up: very annoying. Got this tent and I saw in the reviews that some people experienced breaking of the mechanism when it was taken down. I made sure to be very careful and slow when taking it down, the mechanism for take down is quite strange because you have to push the two discs together and fold all the legs in at the same time as they are all trying to go out and expand. It took some finessing the first time around, but the mechanism did not break. We will continue to be careful on closure, because the fact that it pops open is just amazing. I love how within 1 minute the tent is up and running, what a difference! It's quite lightweight and the size is large enough for 3 people to fit comfortably with towels underneath. I love this tent and I hope that it lasts a long time because I feel spoiled by this technology! UPDATE: Used this once on the beach and it BROKE on taking down. Spent a good two hours trying to put it back together and it is impossible to do. Literally tried every angle we could and it still would NOT budge. Very very disappointed, should have listened to the other reviews with the same problem. Returning product, this is so frustrating and I am so sad by this because I really enjoyed the tent the one day we got to actually use it :(

Held up in the wind!

Searched and searched for the perfect tent to take to the beach. Finally chose this one for the ease of set up (pop up), size, and good reviews. Happy to report that we are pleased with our decision. We had some pretty strong winds and this thing held up pretty well. We used the sand bags and the stakes to make sure it stayed grounded. Many of the umbrellas on the beach couldn’t take the wind but this tent held up! The only two complaints I have is that I wish the bottom extended out just a little bit further but really it was fine. The other thing is that one of the loops to hold up the window panel when not in use was on the wrong side of the screen, so we couldn’t properly tie up the rolled up panel. That is most likely a defect on the one we got and I hope they all aren’t like that. Overall, I’d recommend.

Absolutely the coolest tent/shade and EASY

This is the EASIEST TENT I HAVE EVER SET UP!! Watch the video!!! I couldn’t wait to get it out of the bag to practice setting it up which is exactly what I did and I’m pleased to say, it Took 1 minute to put up and less than a minute to take down. Everything is assembled, all you have to do is pull it up and And to take down it disassembles itself just buy pushing the top two together! It has a great bag to carry it in, not heavy at all. Easy to tote around. I’m so damn happy with it. Bigger than I anticipated even with pictures on other reviews. I am being gentle with it because of other reviews they said the legs break easy, so when assembling and disassembling I’m just letting it do it’s own thing naturally. Exactly what I was looking for to Take to the beach this weekend. Will update my review with Pictures and how it went with the wind but so FAR I LOVE IT!

Best sun shade tent!

I have used this sun shade tent on lake and ocean beaches. Is very easy to put up and fold back down. It is very light and easy to carry in the bag but also when I need to reposition the entire tent while it's open. A great breeze flows through it the windows, keeping me cool at the beach while sitting or laying in the tent. On one very windy day, the tent was catching the wind like a sail. It flexed and the tent was fine, but not staying upright anymore. I just turned the whole thing around so it was open towards the sand dunes and the wind didn't cause any more problems. I still had a great view of the ocean waves through the windows. On another beach day, a sudden storm blew up before I could put the tend down. I had to fold it up in gale winds and heavy rain. It was difficult but since the fabric is strong and poles are so flexible, there was no damage to anything. I highly recommend this sun shade tent made by Alvantor!

Relaxing at the beach

Loved this!! It was a fairly windy and hot day at the beach when my family and I went. With the sand weights our little tent went no where! No sand flew in. We were kept cool from the sun. The kids got to play in the water and my dad and I chilled in the tent. Two thumbs up for sure!

Un must para la playa!

Súper fácil de armar y guardar. Está hecha de nylon así que no se le pega la arena. La sacudes y queda súper limpia. Protege bastante bien. Pensé que las ventanas tenían algo para cerrarse pero no, es totalmente abierta. Ventila muy bien pero no tienes mucha privacidad. Si la recomiendo.

Amazing - this ticks all the boxes

Very easy to put up and relatively easy to pack away. I can tell you even with the Australian wind in the afternoon it ain't going anywhere - very sturdy. I did a tonne of research and looked at reviews on many tents before buying and I'm very happy. This one ticks all the boxes: -sand bags -net vents to keep you cool so it isn't a sweatbox inside - easy to put up and easy to take down - looks pretty nice too - secure pegs in the corners so you feel pretty safe knowing it won't blow away like an umbrella My only improvement would be it would be nice if it was a bit deeper so that by midday / afternoon when the sun is right above you, your legs wouldn't be so much in the sun.

Appears broken on one wide..?

I love the tent, however one front leg does not straighten out, it appears broken as it will not stand Erect. The only way to keep it straight , once straight is to cross tie with string. Assuming leg broken… Is it possible to send a replacement front leg - that needs ro be stretched out to remain erect. The other sife works fine… Confused. Thanks for your help.
