sturdy shoes handled cobblestone streets
These shoes fulfilled the following goals I had for buying them: 1. lightweight for easy packing 2. cute, strappy shoes but with Teva thicker, contoured soles for walking on rocks, etc. 3. water resistant so I could wear them in sand and surf They were at first goofy to put on, but by the third time I put them on, they seemed to have adjusted to how they fit on my feet, so pretty quick after that to put on. These dudes handled walking on cobblestone and rocks without hurting my feet, for a few hours, on and off. However.... the sole is not as durable as a mainstream Teva, so I took off one star. They won't last I long, i suspect. For for now, and for this trip, they worked like a charm!

I’m sure for someone out there it fits. I wanted to look like Marykate Olsen since she wears these but unfortunately my feet are too wide. Not recommended for the wide feet girlies.

love the look, fussy to put on....
I love the look of these, and I enjoy wearing them but they are annoying to put on.. off is simple, it's just a lot of little elastic bits to navigate through, but wash well and wear well, comfortable and easy otherwise..

My 4th pair
I love, love, love these. I lived in a country where I was basically barefoot for most of the year. I hate wearing shoes. Now I live in the city. I walk every day at a minimum of 6 KM on sidewalk. I wear these to replicate being barefoot, and yet having the benefit of minimizing the impact on my feet. The strings will loosen. I actually broke my arm after tripping when my toes got caught in the laces and I flew forward. I take full responsibility: I am serious about comfort and I don't blame the shoes. I tightened the ties and pulled them in and still wear them, cutting the excess. They are my badass shoes . My third pair were stolen. WTF! Who steals shoes!??? I now have my fourth pair.

Cute but uncomfortable
I ended up returning these after wearing them out for about 1 hour and finding that my feet were getting sore and that the intricate webbed material pinched my skin/toes. I thought they were really cute and the quality seemed good (in my opinion Tevas are generally well constructed and worth the price), but I knew they would not be practical to keep. I'm not sure if my feet would have adjusted, but the pain was bad enough that I knew I would never even reach for them to try and break them in.

Torturous
I know they say, "Beauty is pain," so in this respect, these are "beautiful" because they're painful. The straps dig into your feet, because if they're too loose, they'll slip off. It's a pity, too, because they are very cute, but they're a pain to put on the first few times to get the straps right. However, I did find the sole to be comfortable, but aside from the straps, the inside nub kept rubbing against my skin, and if I wore these longer than I did, I can imagine lots of blisters.

Super Cute and totally worth it HOWEVER pay attention to sizing!
I have been eyeing a good pair of walking/hiking sandals for quite sometime now out of my hatred for roaming around on a hot Florida day in sweaty/wet pair of sneakers. I wanted to ensure I found a pair of sandals that I would be able to wear on an everyday basis in terms of both comfort and style, and might I just say, for the price, these were the absolute perfect choice. I got the peach colored ones, and am deffinitely looking to invest in other colors of the same design. They are not only super cute and stylish (even more so then they look online), but their light weight design and foam cushioning make for an overall comfy sandal. The straps are cute, form fitting, and adjust to your feet relatively quickly, although I will say the side pieces holding the straps are irritating at first until broken in. I saw the W next to women's and feared the shoe would be wide in size so I ordered a size down just incase. My shoe size is typically around 10-10 1/2 and my foot is 10 inches long and 3 & 1/2 inches wide at the largest portion, so I went ahead and ordered a size 9. I was afraid they were too small at first, but as I've broken them in they fit perfectly, with the straps staying completely secure throughout the day. The only things I wish differently is that they would clarrify a little better on sizing, and possibly incorporate half sizes into the sizing options. From what it seems, the size you should order really depends on the width of your foot. Seeing as one of the back straps is actually a part of the rest of the strapping, it tightens around the back as the rest of it is stretched, so if you have wider feet I would highly suggest ordering up. If you still find the other strap is too loose, you can pull it further up around the ankle towards the center on both sides. Despite the sizing flaw, these sandals are overall worth the investment if you take the time to make sure you order the right size. Best part of ordering off amazon is that you can send them if the sizing is wrong; however generally qfter a few days of breaking them in, you should have yourself a chique and unique pair of ultimately comfort suited everyday sandals!

Overall, a good summer vacation shoe
Cons: I'm giving this 4 stars because first impressions were just ok. I was annoyed at myself for paying so much for something that seemed to be cheap. The soles are very light and sound like that plastic foam. The straps feel weird at first and as though they won't hold the foot securely. They also seemed too flat though the arch support is there. But that is first impressions. Pros: Super comfortable as soon as you put them on. Seriously the most comfortable thing I've ever had on my foot. I walked around in them for a bit and it felt awkward but decided to keep them in the end. I'm so glad I did. Our 2nd day in Maui we went on a tour and took pictures on a cliff. We had to hike a bit over stoney and uneven land and these were comfortable yet conformed to the uneven ground so I was sure footed. Not once did I slip or feel afraid of slipping. We ended up spending 5 more hours out sight seeing and shopping and my feet still feel fine. No fatigue or aches. I'm noticing thw foam bottom is comforming to my foot at bit so the flatness will probably work out over time. And the straps did worry me at first because I couldn't figure out how to tighten them. But as other reviews suggested, I pulled the front part and it was fine. I highly suggest these sandals for vacations and as walkimg sandals.

Incredibly comfortable
I did some serious trekking in these shoes and they were comfortable and supportive right from the first wear - no need to wear in. Fabric insole cover also soft and breathable in the sense that feet did not sweat even in really hot weather. They also pass as pretty sandals for every day wear. Really versatile and great price - highly recommend.

Wonderful! Comfortable and cute!
Bought these as comfortable walking/out-and-about summer shoes as apposed to trainers or fashion sandles and I love them! They do take a week of wear to get used to them, figuring out how tight and where you like the straps as well as breaking in the sole, but after that they're genuinely the comfiest shoes I own. They're pretty cute too, and I've been wearing them out pretty much non-stop since I bought them in September, only stopping recently because it's been too cold for my toes! I definitely recommend!

Nice looking, not great function
These sandals are really nice for an outdoor sandal; And if it was just about looks I would’ve kept them. Unfortunately, the straps weren’t tight enough to keep your foot in place trekking through water. Not great for hiking/walking in rivers etc.

All day comfort and compliments ♥ So great, I got a 2nd pair in another colour!
I absolutely LOVE these Teva sandals. They feel like nothing on your feet, yet have the comfort and support to walk and be active all day long. They feel sturdy like my older style of Teva sandals, but a little different as they do not have the 2 velcro adjustable straps across toes and around ankle. Initially these pretty "strappy straps" take a little pulling/sliding adjustment to fit your personal comfort on your feet, but it doesn't take long as the straps are cords with a bit of an elastic stretch, and you can lengthen or shorten where they wrap around your foot and ankle through the side and back loops, to fit your foot comfortably. Once you adjust the straps, they do not move around or slide on your feet, and the sole is supportive but cushiony - SUPER COMFORTABLE! Plus they look really pretty - not just my opinion but because I have been getting random compliments from people about my sandals everywhere I go :) I love this black pair so much, that I bought a second pair with silver loops and gray straps ♥
