Does the trick

Husband has parkinsons and finding it harder to pull up off couch. Always adjusting couch pillows which he was pulling off every time, trying to get up. This assist is doing the trick great, he is so happy. And the bonus is that the instructions were BIG (obviously mostly an older customer base) and easy to put together. mfg had UTAH address, so maybe that is why. Last item we order from China had tiny instructions and hard to put together and we were not looking forward to a repeat effort.

Sturdy

My 99 year old Mother has great difficulty in rising from the recliner couch. Finally came across this lift assist that works with recliners. It has improved her experience 100%. Only downside is making the adjustments to find the correct height with the bolts. Would have been nice to have the pins that you can squeeze to adjust to the next hole. With that said I would still buy it again.

A virtual life saver

Purchased for my 86 year old mother. She has a lift recliner but forgets to use it. This product allows her to stand easiere and safer. Thank You ABLE LIFE

It worked

This product able me to get out of my recliner after my knee replacement surgery. It lifts when you recline. I would recommend this product

Perfect to help elderly get up from recliner or sofa!!

This was easy to assemble. Very sturdy. Immediately helped my mother, so she could get up from recliner! A must have for any elderly person who has trouble getting up out of chair or sofa.

Overpriced

I cannot justify this costing over £100!! I will use it as my elderly father needs it to help him stand/sit... It is quite flimsy and there is still movement even when the bolts are fully tightened... The polystyrene packaging was broken and all indications if I'm correct, point towards this being a Chinese made product..

VITAL PART MISSING- BASE CONNECTOR TUBE!! tried to contact company but no response!!!

SO DISSAPOINTED This item appeared perfect for my husband but on arrival noticed the BASE CONNECTOR SUPPORT was missing rendering item totally unusable for his needs!!! The only contact I could find was in the USA and despite emailing them have had no response. I am unable to return due to disabilities and have wasted a lot of money.

It works

It does what it says but the legs do tend to stand at a slight angle. To me that's the only comment, my husband is the one that uses it and he now can sit on the sofa instead of a straight back chair, easy to assemble
