Not Lefty Friendly

Just received this a few days ago from recommendation and I was impressed at first by how bold it wrote but it was short lived. The ink itself doesn't seem to release quickly enough and writing begins to look and feel faint and scratchy.

Good Pens.

These pens work great. The price was better than dept store, and they last a long time. I had 1 pen on the box that would leak and smudge, but the rest have performed good. I do a lot if writing because Im a counter salesman at a Big truck parts store

My favorite gel pen ever...just watch who you buy it from.

I used to buy these pens individually at my college bookstore a few years ago. I'm hooked on them! (I have one in front of me right now as I write this!) They write extremely nice and are particularly comfortable to hold. The rubber section on the image makes it look bulky, but it's actually a very low-profile and smooth rubber grip. The clip of the pen is more durable than many other pens. I've had a couple break over the years, but only because I am always fiddling with them. Like all gel pens, you have to let the ink dry. My lefty girlfriend doesn't like these pens because it's too easy for her hand to get ink on it and for the writing to get smeared. I'm a righty, so it's fine for me. Another downside is that the ink goes by too fast. I'm constantly writing things down at work, and the ink in one pen rarely makes it to the two-week mark. That may be long for you, but for me, I wish it lasted longer. However, the .7mm lines do look very nice. Also, be careful where you buy this pen. I bought a full box of them at a very low price from an alternate seller on here, and the pens are junk. They must be 2nd quality pens: the clickers jam and ink goes up the barrel until it starts spilling out the top. My recommendation is to buy from Zebra (which I think is the default seller for this item).

Smooth-writing but messy

I love to smooth-writing quality of these pens, but the ink is not fast-drying and will easily smear.

They really don't smear

They work very well and it is true. They smear less than other gel pens I have used.

My favorite work pen

I’m a first responder and I’ve used many work pens over the years. This is my favorite one. The ink is opaque and bold and dries very quickly. Be advised that the ink isn’t waterproof though so don’t buy these if that’s what you’re looking for. I work outdoors and have used these in rainy conditions and they’ll bleed around like most others. But they do perform slightly better in that regard than many other pens I’ve used. But as far as the ink drying during normal writing it’s nearly instantaneous so that’s great as you won’t smudge it around with a hand, clothing or anything else.

Super Smooth

These are one of my favorite pens, they write super smooth and just glide on all types of paper, don't really bleed through paper unless it's super thin. These pens don't last long, but that could be just me because I use them for pretty much everythhing.

Love them/Hate them

I love Sarasa gel pens and have bought them many times from various suppliers. They are the smoothest-writing pens I've ever used, they last a long time; and they never leak or smudge. My only gripe with them is that about 1/3 of them are either already dry (right out of the box) or dry up within a day or two of starting to use them. This has been my experience with previous boxes purchased from Staples etc. and while I hoped that buying them through Amazon might prove different, it has not. I've resigned myself to throwing away the ones that don't work and accepting the extra cost only because I've never found another gel pen I liked as much.

3 bad pens out the 5 Used so far.

I love these pens, only ones I choose out of sooooo many I have tried. There's no fault in the actual pen but this multi pack is deceiving. Three pens are sitting on my desk which I opened one after the other brand new . They write for a few minutes,and then stops writing. I thisnk this multi pack deal is garbage as several pens aren't working. I am afraid to open the rest. I was saving these to write exams, and I have only used up one pen, three are sitting useless, one is being used. Let's see how it goes with the rest. 3 bad ones out of the lot is not cool.and is no coincidence. U buy a pack of four for 5/6 bucks in the stores...

Great pens!!

I'm left handed, and always find out too late when my writing is smudged. With this pen I never have a problem with smudges from ink that is not dry. This is the only pen I will use.

Buen bolígrafo pero quizás no para mi.

Lo bueno: la tinta tiene un color excelente, azul oscuro, y el flujo de la misma es constante. Lo no tan bueno: el secado de la tinta no es tan rápido y yo siendo zurdo alcanzo a manchar el papel, y otro detalle, en papeles delgados, la tinta alcanza a pasar para el otro lado.
