Great beginner setup

Great setup for a beginner, just don't splurge for purple braided line too. The reel does not work with braided line.

Good Child's Fishing Pole

Kid Friendly!

We like this pole so much this is the second pole we have purchased. We have one at a grandparents house and one at home. The pole comes apart for easy storage and when together is sturdy. The reel is very kid and dad friendly. Seriously, tie on a hook, add bait and you cast! The cast is super easy too, you push and hold the button and release the button to let the line out. We plan to buy a third when our youngest is able to hold a pole:)

Catches big fish with no issues

Bought 2 of these for my 3 and 4yr olds. I had bought the Zebco 404 but they were a little too big for them yet. They will come in handy later. Since we have bought these rods they have been slaughtering fish both freshwater and saltwater. Keep her slot redfish and keeper speckled trout up to 23 in also a 15lb catfish. With the drag all the way loose and then one or two clicks to the plus is the way to go. Did not have to change out line or anything they line it came with was wonderful

Cannot use it

Wasn’t able to use it, missing a piece was disappointed with it. The top part of the pole was missing.

One was fine, the other arrived with a broken tip

I bought two of these to take my grandsons fishing. One was fine, the other arrived with a broken tip. I think the tip was broken before it was put in the box, as the box was not damaged and the tip was not in it. Very disappointing to me and my grandson and I had to go out of my way (a lot) to buy a replacement rod in a store. The other one worked fine. I really wanted a rod of this length for small boys and this was the only one I'd found. I recall seeing other reviews stating the rod arrived broken. I took a chance and paid the price. I'd recommend making sure you have enough time to return and replace it if you order one of these. I wish I had the time to do that.

Fantastic kids fishing combo.

Fantastic little rod. I gave it to my son for his 3rd birthday and with a little practice he can cast about 20 to 30 feet with a 'training' lure (I cut the hooks down to almost nothing on a few minows). Seems well made and durable. Will buy another when my youngest son gets old enough.

Bad quality

Quality is bad and only used not over 10 times. The spin ring stuck and cannot throw the line and pull it back. Since the return time is over, otherwise definitely will give back to Amazon. Don't buy it and waist your money.

Muchos detalles malos

Llegó con las anillas de lado, no dobladas mas bien parecen mal puestas, también trajo dañado el epoxi del puntero de la base y llegó en color naranja en lugar de rosa (era para mi esposa y no le gustó el color)

Haven't had the weather to use it yet but seems pretty good quality. It's shorter than normal but I'm sure it will do the trick
