Comfortable and easy to grip

I have a set of three-pound dumbbells I have been using as part of my work-out routine for about three decades. They have lasted a long time, but the vinyl is pretty dinged up, and they are not all that easy to grip. More than a few times, I have swung a bit askew and bonked myself on the head with them. Ouch! I saw these hand weights and decided they might be a good alternative. First of all, these are four pounds, rather than three, so it’s taken a bit to get used to the slightly heavier weights. Interestingly enough, they don’t FEEL a whole pound heavier—I think because of the fact that the weight is evenly distributed, rather than concentrated at the ends like the dumbbells. Second, the padding is terrific! My hands don’t slip on the grips like they do on the smooth vinyl of my old dumbbells, and if my swing gets a little wild, they don’t hurt my hips or head as much. My hands don’t get tired or sore with these, either. Should I take them in my luggage on a trip, the padding should help prevent damage to the other items in my bag. I really don’t need the adjustable strap on these, since I use them indoors rather than when walking. In fact, I wish that there was a way of detaching it. Other than that, the dumbbells look stylish with extra grooves and stripes on them. I only needed the one set, but for folks who get all three, it’s great that the dumbbells come in different colors to designate their respective weights. Other than the regular price of almost $30 for this set, which seems a bit high to me, I think these dumbbells are great! They would be a nice addition to your personal gym. They probably wouldn’t be ideal if more than one person was planning to use them.

Well-made, straps are very sturdy

My partner uses these twice a day in life the fact that she can use the strap to hook her foot through them, and do like lifts with them attached to her feet. I carry them with me when I’m walking through the yard, just to have a little bit of extra resistance. I think they’re really well-made.

Excellent Quality Materials and Nice Colors

This is an AWESOME set of weights! I am very happy with this purchase. The material around the weight is quality material. Colors are bright and nice. The weight it printed on the actual weight itself on the end in white lettering so you can see it but it is unobtrusive and has a nice star logo print on the other end. The hand strap is adjustable to fit large or smallish hands. It is Velcro so you can adjust it to your needs. I have an issue with my grip so I got these to replace my old set that did not have any way to hold on to them except sheer force. This way I will feel safer when using the weights in case my hand grip gives out the weight won’t just fall and hit me or someone or something else. I would highly recommend this set and this brand.

A colorful set of dumbbells for a home gym!

These are light but good-quality dumbbells. They are colorful and come in 3 sets- (2,3 &4) lbs. These dumbbells have non-slip padding and velcro to adjust the length. The weight is not that heavy, so it is comfortable to hold. The dumbbells are great for hand workouts. They look pretty durable, with the outer padding and hand straps, too. Great set of dumbbells!

Perfect for home gym

A nice set of handheld dumbbells for your light exercise needs.

This is a really nice set of neoprene dumbbells for light handheld exercise. It comes with adjustable Velcro straps so that you can adjust the position between the back of your hand and the weights to make them more secure when using. The weights themselves have a neoprene coating to make them more comfortable to use. I selected the 4 lb. size which is great for light exercises to tone your arms while using an exercise App like Peloton or just for walking outside and swinging to get a more complete workout. I think they are reasonably priced and definitely worth considering.
