Better

Took a chance and this version is more fun than the one I have played for many years. More money to start, better improvements. 1 die added but not necessary if you play by standard rules. New added rules are easy to understand. Happy I made this choice

Component Review

This will mostly be a component review, as I have only read the rules and have not played the game yet. I love the Monopoly "asthetic", arguably even more than the game! Some things that I thought were EXACTLY as expected: 1) Paper money 2) Player tokens 3) Dice Some things that were pretty lazy: 1) The names of the new properties are simple "(different US state) Avenue". Kinda lame ???? 2) Bus ticket cards: there are only 2 types and they both allow you to move the exact same way. The only difference is one type also requires all players to discard their bus tickets. 3) The cost of the railroad depots ($100) doesn't appear on the cards like the cost of houses/hotels/skyscrapers. It's only in the rulebook! Some things probably only I am picky about: 1) Houses/Hotels have shingles and aren't glossy. But I will say they are sculpted nicely, as are the depots & skyscrapers. I just prefer the older asthetic. 2) New artwork: some of the new artwork (Gas Company) doesn't match the asthetic, but I think the Bus artwork does! 3) The "Go" space has black font instead of red. Weird! 4) Glossy box... I associate this with cheap board games. 5) The rules state that once all bus tickets are used, that's all folks! But then maybe that's one way the game moves faster. The only thing I think totally missed the mark: Cards... They have the 3D Uncle Pennybags and a lot of duplicate artwork... 9 of 16 Chance cards have the same artwork ☹️ They are also thin and I think the artwork on the backs are pretty lame. This the only reason I'm not rating 5 stars. By the way: the rules are pretty clear and I fully expect the game to go much faster (I only read the new rules). Overall, I think I'll enjoy the game, but these were items I wish I had known prior to buying.

We have game night every week with card or board games and I must say this one wins!!! It's the extra large version of the original. More money, more properties and more fun. We love it!!!

Fun new monopoly

There are thousand different monopoly additions out there so when I saw this which is not the same monopoly but different I had to buy it. It’s fun and there’s alot of new stuff. The new stuff is fun but at times annoying it’s actually fun to play the original monopoly rules without adding in the new stuff. Overall it’s a fun game for die hard monopoly fans and for monopoly fans who want a change.

Very good game

the game itself is very good, playing is very fast and we have had a lot fun while playing. you can play classic as well as mega version :) only problem was with the delivery to Switzerland. First delivery has never arrived, but after a complain new set arrived in 2 weeks.
