Great deep fryer that can keep up.

Every year we throw our annual "FryFest" party for 40 of our friends. This is the only time we really fry, but we fry all night for at least 6 hour straight plus testing recipes for the week before. I'v always used my small but trusty Waring Pro plus a commercial 10# commercial Globe. At the last minute I decided we needed a third fryer. I saw this one and figured a double would be better and I would put away the Waring Pro. I ran this one and the Globe all night, frying 10 different dishes. It kept up beautifully. It heated up relatively quickly and had fast recovery. I like the large tubs. A couple of thing I would change: Add a power switch. Make the temp controller a little more precise with a 350 designation. Be able to lift the heating element in to a position to easily drip the oil back in to the tub. I would very much suggest you have two independent circuits for each plug. Plugging them both in to the same circuit will probably blow a breaker at some point. Pros: Fast Heating Fast Recovery Tops out at 385*F Large tub holds lots of oil Removable tubs Two plugs for two separate circuits so you don't blow a breaker. Stainless is easy to clean Large baskets Power light lets you know it is plugged in and power is flowing Cons: Temp control not precise enough A little difficult to clean since you can't raise the heating element to drip in to the tub Some sharp edges on the base and the controller No power switch

Product flawed

Perfect for homemade deep fried foods

We originally bought this so that we could fry some wings up for dinner. This has turn j to a weekly use object in our home. I made some homemade potato chips and they crisped up real good. Fryer heats up real quick and holds temp for a good while. Would definitely recommend this for anyone who likes to fry at home.

Literal price of garbage

Flimsy as hell. Screws fell of in shipping and went missing. Can fry 1 thing ever 30 min - may good for home use. This is not a professional fryer Says goes to 380 but know barely goes past 340 but only get to a temp of 300. Can't even make french fries.

Very sturdy unit

Product is very well made... Has a very heavy duty cord to prevent overheating... However the edges of the cover are very sharp, and the way the handle attaches to the basket causes it to sometimes come apart if you put too much food in it. That being said, it's very easy to clean and it heats up rather quickly... About 15 minutes to hit 360. And the temperature of the oil rebounds very fast in between cooking frozen food...

Cheaply built...BUT easy to use & clean!

The product as a whole is good. The 2 plugs are a little overkill, and need to be rethought out. I ended up having to by an extra extension cord with multiple plugs to make it truly easy to set up. Secondly...it is a little slow to heat up. Takes at least 10-15 minutes depending in the set temp. Thirdly...and I will be contacting the Seller...the base-frame showed up twisted, or bent slightly. I cannot get it to set level on the counter top.

The perfect fryer

This fryer is absolutely amazing, the warmth, thickness, and temperature control works as advertised. We were able to fry ???? fish and wings in under 10 minutes. It's so much better than using a frying pan. Simply the best ????????????????

Big step up from dept store fryers

My wife loves this fryer! My foodie neighbor who suggests he's the expert was impressed. The regular store fry daddy type fryers weren't cutting it for a family of four. I'm talking little things like fry's. This thing does fry's, fish, chicken... more than we've fried before in a deep fryer like this..
