Nicer than the other brands!

I bought some other brand from my local hardware store, but the flimsy plastic snapped when I tightened the screws to the side of my house. This item has a nice metal backing that gives it some added strength, and it didn't cost much more than the other product. Wish I had bought it first, but glad I have it installed now!

Easy to install..

This vent replaced a very old one that wouldn't stay closed any longer on the outside of the house. In fear of a bird nest being built inside or some other wild critter, I purchased this to use as a replacement. The fit was perfect, had to cut about 1/2' off the end with tin snips for inside the house, but in the end everything fit well for the dryer hose and the dryer is up and running with a new, nice looking outside dryer vent.

Good product

Works great. Although, I had to tape a penny over the hole of the flap to add some weight so it didn't stay stuck open.

It's a hood

Well constructed for the price with the hood riveted to the tube. Good choice if it's well off grade level, otherwise the flapper will provide easy access for rodents and such.
