It Works
This Whirlpool Gas Dryer connector kit lives up to expectations. The hose and fittings are of good quality, and I liked the tube of fluorescent leak test liquid better than using soapy water. I found the tube of thread sealant was on the small side. I recommend laying out a few dollars for a small jar of good quality plumbers dope. I gave it only four stars because the kit included instructions for a dishwasher water line hook up instead of those pertinent to this product. I've done this many times, but the lack of instructions was disconcerting. This is a pretty big omission given the potential consequences of improperly hooking up a gas line. Out of curiosity I checked to see if the actual instructions for this kit were available on line and they were not. If you've never hooked up a gas dryer before, it's not difficult but you'll want to seek out a good instructional video.

Great self install , need gas shutoff valve for bare pipe
Comes with everything except gas shutoff valve ao u have to first connect that to the gas inlet pipe to be able to connect to the converters in this kit , good quality and works for self install

Bought to replace the line on my dryer that was failing. Came with everything that was advertised. Simple instructions and warning are provided also. Installation was a cinch and no issues or leaks since. The item you will receive will look differently than the stock image here. It will be yellow which is a protective coating.

Solid product but don't be fooled by pricing
This product is decently designed and looks good. Yellow line (not like the picture) but that's not a huge deal. Sometimes depending on your installation you'll need different fittings that extend off this product. Much easier to grab those extra parts when holding this in your hands. Local hardware store had this apparently and for the same price. I would have waited if I knew.

Wrong fitting size
I didn't check the fitting's size and it doesn't fit my dryer. I assumed that if it's the same manuf as the dryer and it says it fits most dryers, it should be fine. Wrong! Had to buy another one locally. I guess it's my fault, not the seller's. The sealant was missing from the kit.

No problem
Made purchase for our new gas dryer. We had a hard time finding kit at our local hardware store. My husband has converted our driers for 30years so he has experience in the procedure, everything needed was in the kit and is in use for 6months without a problem.

High quality replacement gas hook-up line
Came with all the fittings you could possibly want. Also included was a small tube of pipe dope and a small tube of soap for making leak-testing solution. Instructions were very clear. At this price, could not recommend higher!
