Definitely Must Play With Application Technique

Surprisingly received "Wet N Wild Bare Focus Clarifying Finishing Powder | Matte | Pressed Setting Powder Medium-Tan" within 2-business days of purchase. Packaging was a little sketchy with just a plastic cellophane wrap and plastic mailer. Arrived with a hairline crack, but in tact, phew! I AM no makeup artist, merely like what I like (simplicity is the order of the day). I have no wrinkes, no fine lines nor any facial discolorations. In fairness, skin is contributed to genetics, a healthy lifestyle and moderate exercise. Only apply makeup occasionally, do not wear daily. I found myself toying with the application and technical installation, by mixing colors to achieve the desired results... but the outcome was Gorgeous! I used a densed powder brush to apply the Wet N Wild bare focus clarifying matte finishing "pressed" powder to set over my Wet N Wild photo focus pressed powder, deep tan (Target). This combination left my skin looking flawless with hints of glowy shimmer. Because of the transit damage, one star removed. I would recommend if in a pinch. Otherwise, it's recommended to traffic to a nearby drug store to witness firsthand product integrity. I pray the above-mentioned was helpful I'm potential decision making. **Update: PLEASE NOTE, his is a solid "pressed" or "compact" powder; is NOT "loose" or finely "milled" powder. Adds THE PERFECT touch for a flawless look!!

I like to think of myself as a make up connoisseur over several decades, I’ve learned which products work, which don’t and of course you change and touchup as the years go by. There are some primers that are amazing some that aren’t (the glass correct primer base that’s in a yellow bottle was horrible on my skin but the beauty about these products if you buy something and it doesn’t work there, so inexpensive you don’t feel like you’ve been )some blurs that the cheapest brands work 100xs better as the more expensive ones , but the best thing about the wet and wild brand is year for the most part getting quality items and not spending ridiculously high price is that you don’t need to …this translucent powder is one of the best powders I’ve ever used no matter what brand of moisturizer, primer, blur, foundation, (stick, cream, powder or liquid)— it really adds a very thin layer of perfection on your make up. Ive had my make up done by professional artists a few times over the years and I’ll never forget one of them telling me you don’t have to spend and buy the most expensive products out there just play around find what works and stay with it.. my make up cases are filled with Revlon, Maybelline, Neutrogena, Cover FX, Elf, NYX, Cover Girl, Laura Geller, Lancôme, Tatcha(The silk canvas is a higher priced primer, but between that and Maybelline’s baby skin, you can’t find a better blur or on your skin-especially after they discontinued the Garnier blur .)Joah, Magic Minerals spray primer-foundation-setting mist(definitely on the pricey end, but you will get a professional looking job with them too)…. The thing is it’s fun to test different products and different products will give you different looks etc. , but out of all the products I have I will always use the WET and WILD finishing powder. It works with anything.!!!! I hope they never discontinued this brand! Thank you for giving us an affordable wonderful product!

Great value, not sure if it works though.

Since it's not visible in the photos, this is 7.8 gram / 0.27 ounce. Most other brands have that size priced around $10.00 (USD). I bought this to hold my tattoo cover up concealer in place, but it kind of makes it look weird and cake up. Perhaps I'm not using it correctly though. I tried it on my face just to smooth my skin and it did quite well but up close it doesn't seem translucent.

I like it!

I like it! I was skeptical because it so white and I thought it would make me look like a ghost. I have dark skin and I was have oily skin. I need something to set my makeup and not look oily as soon as I put it on. This works. I just take a puff and blot it on lightly. So far so good. I have also takes pictures and it doesn’t have a white cast. I wear mac foundation but didn’t want to pay for the blot powder

As a man, in sales, I get the occasionalblemish. This is good because it basically just pat on the stuff pat on blemish 3 times and blemish is gone and can't see any makeup. Because worse than a blemish is if they ask, are you wearing make up? Asked truthful friends and they couldn't tell.

Wish it had a mirror

Looks great and lasts, I really like this powder. Unfortunately, though, it doesn't have a mirror which makes it a bother to reapply throughout the day.

Broken powder - loose powder

This was supposed to be a pressed powder, easy to carry out with me, but it came broken but still sealed. So now it’s just a mess all over the place, can’t put that in my purse!!

Great value for price

I have sensitive skin and it didn't cause any breakouts or irritation. I use it to set my foundation and it works well. This is the second time I've purchased it over other more expensive brands.

Doesn't stay on.

Seems to clump on eyelid. Does not seem to last long. My eyelids became itchy and sore after use.
